This is how lipping works so that she can speak between songs.

How do you know it's 100% real, I mean some of it does sound like her but some sounds like a completley different person - esp I'm a slave 4 u

 

And if it is all real, why the hell does she even bother to actualy sing if she is suppose to be miming?! Can't they just turn on the mic when after a song when she is about to speak?

It's undeniable that it's her. That's her voice. That's how she sounds when she sings and that's how she sounds when she talks.

 

Britney never denied any lip-synching allegations either. And she's been accused nonstop.

 

This is how Celine lips too. They sing to the microphone to keep up with the song and make it more "real." It doesn't mean that they use their full voice all the time. Their volume is turned completely off for the input to the speakers, however, the technicians can still hear everything.

 

Someone must have plugged a recorded into one of the outputs and recorded this - and been offered money to do so...

That's shocking!!! I'd rather hear her stand still and show off her amazing talent than dance around stage puffing herself out and miming everything (or in this case sounding bad). I believe she's very talented, but those clips just don't do her justice.

and enough of the hate mentality in this forum. almost everybody hates mariah, janet and britney spears. they are great artists in their own ways and we should respect them. give the artist a credit when it's due. brit's a very talented artist. her voice may sound as weak as janet jackson's, but at least they excell in other fields like dancing and making danceable songs and i think it's enough to at least give them credit for that.

I think that it's absolute crap that this is posted. How distasteful.

 

I'm a very big Britney Spears fan, and I'm very educated in her career. Those "clips" are from her Dream Within A Dream tour that was nearly completely lipped (except for 2 ballads and 2 other songs that she did in South America).

 

Why did she lip these? Take a look at the dance routine that she does. Could you sing and sound good dancing like that? If you say yes, you're lying. Of course she has to sing "somewhat" to make it look like she's singing, as said above---so they don't give it their all. That's the point--why lip sync if you're going to give it your all.

 

This "clip" also "surfaced" months ago. I'd press charges on the idiots that released this. Want to hear her "sing" ---look for her first and second tours or see one of her Saturday Night Live ballads.

 

I don't see why non-Britney fans go to great, low lengths to find these things. They love to hate her. Reminds me of one of her lyrics (on a song SHE wrote) "they want her to break down and be a legend of her fall..."

I have two bootleg cd's from the TC tour and I hear three (3!) places where Celine lips: in the beginning of IDAN, the long note in TPOL and the long notes in MHWGO. That's it... Not whole songs and certainly not whole concerts...

 

My point is that Celine gets all this crap thrown at her for lipping a few high and/or long notes... But for Britney it's ok because she dances?

I don't get that... People also pay good money to hear her sing, don't they?

That is a good point, but unlike Celine, people have come to expect a dancing spectacle from Britney---a full-on show. For Celine, people just expect the ballads being done on a stool. At least Celine's idea of putting on a show is much more interesting than people expect.
