Celine will have a break so she will be part of the next ADISQ awards. The Symphony Orchestra of Montreal will pay tribute to her

Pour son 30e gala, le 2 novembre prochain, l'ADISQ rendra hommage à Céline Dion. Joint hier à Toronto où Céline Dion donne deux spectacles de sa tournée Taking Chances, René Angélil a confirmé que l'ADISQ avait communiqué avec lui à ce sujet, mais n'a pas voulu en dire davantage. L'ADISQ n'a pas rappelé La Presse.

 

 

 

Mais les préparatifs vont bon train, avons-nous appris. Ce matin même, des musiciens de l'OSM enregistrent une musique en prévision de cet hommage auquel pourrait assister la chanteuse puisqu'il n'y a pas de spectacle de la tournée Taking Chances prévu entre ceux de Minneapolis, le 30 octobre, et de Chicago, le 4 novembre.

It would also be nice to see her just sit back and enjoy herself for a change. Like someone said earlier, it has certainly been a busy year for her. Maybe this time she should just be allowed to enjoy the moment and not have to think about performing (since she's on a mini-break)

Couldn't they get Vienna Philharmonics or Boston Symphony?

She hasn't won any of these awards the past years, right? Guess they want to make for it by giving her this tribute thing.

I hope she sings (Celine + live orchestra is always good) and not someone else (because we know who that someone would be ... they always get the same bunch of non-talents together with her, it's amazing.)

Celine will be there to get an award as well,(maybe achievement one because she has 39 felix so this is one will 40th) but the producer of the gala didnt reveal if celine will sing as well

But I am curious...I don't know for sure if they are a part of the first 120, I would assume they are, because it said something like if these fan tickets aren't available, click here to purchase regular ones. How do we know for sure though? Also it was weird because I didn't have to even put my TC number in...I'm slightly confused, but at least I'll be there!
