This is one of my 2nd favorite album by her, LTAL being the first and I love I Feel Too Much. I always imagine dancing to that song. It's so fun and upbeat. Def. one of her best English albums. :wub:

I just can't get enough of this album :in_love: I luuurve it!!. I'm listening all Céline discography since 1987 with Incognito and I listened Unison yesterday, but had to repeat today . I listened the full album, put each single I had from it, remixes of Unison on the Unison 12"...

Songs like The Last To Know (how I wish she sang this piece today, what a GREAT ballad! :wub: ), Unison remix, I Feel Too Much and Have A Heart... are masterpieces in Céline's career :yes:

I also put the Unison VHS to memorate some live performances and the videoclips (the Unison video with the remix version is priceless, a dance video like no other Céline has and THE ONLY video where we can really see Céline dancing!! :confused: SHE NEEDS MORE OF THIS and less ballads!!)

I think we have here an underestimated album in Céline's discography, and very unknown, maybe because of the date, but also because of the cover maybe (many people really "judge the book by its cover", and the cover isn't very appealing -though I love it-) :msn-tongue:

i LOVE unison....its an album that keeps bouncing back like a boomerang! I always have fads on it! and ive had it now for over 10 years so its part of me! haha. Its always a refreshing album to listen to coz its so different to her other stuff.

yeh it is isnt it - love can move mountains always sneaks it haha. not even where does my heart beat now gets an outing (even tho i find this song the most boring on the album...mainly coz of over playing and the song always being included on eeeevrything through out celines careers) haha.

But i did like in vegas that they worked the Unison rap into love can move mountains!! haha how awsome! That was a real surprise when i watched the dvd.

:yes: I loooove that they added the rap! It fitted so perfectly in LCMM! I also love Unison from the Millenium Concert!! Imagine if they updated Any Other Way a bit or hearing Céline belting out The Last To Know again :wub:

LOL I recently watched something about the photographer explaining why he made the Unison cover like he did. he said something about capturing the person and grab attention with the picture. I really like it, although there are far better ones from that Unison shoot!

I also love the Celine Dion cover. That picture is special too, cos they were waiting for the hairdresser and Céline sat there in that room, and the sun began to shine and they decided to make some pictures... and one of those became the cover! :in_love:

nd the winter concert garden is the olnly cd i mastered with the cover made by myself cos it's wonderfull!!!

oooh that is a good bit of knowledge to add to the memory bank! i love that shoot for celine dion and even the cover of the promos with more of the door frame in etc but i dunno somethign about that shot on the album cover just looks soooooo dated.

yeh i remember reading about the unison cover and it is a good 'establishing' and simple cover - a technique they employed for MCs first cover as well which is practically the same but iun colour.

There are a couple of songs that i like (WDMHBN and The Last To Know) but in general i don't like this album... it might be great for it's time but i don't know, i never liked it... is the one that i don't listen to very often...

To tell you the truth, Unison is not my favourite album at all, in fact, I hardly ever listen to it. I like her raw voice, but those songs are somehow not my cup of tea. There are few songs, however, that I like, eg. Unison, If Love Is Out Of The Question and Have A Heart.

OFF: Somebody mentioned the cover of "Celine Dion". That made me take the CD in my hand and have a more thorough look at it, and I realized that it is magnificent. Probably her best album cover IMO.

UNISON is the only album I regret having bought. I really can't stand it. I listen to "Where does my heart beat now" and "Have a heart" only because I recorded them into a compilation I made.

It's really a bad album, Celine's worst absolutely.

I decided to listen to album again yesterday and now I can't turn it off!

I have the CD in the car, but I take it out to listen to it at work, then take it back home and listen to it there again!

Noooooooo... obsession alert!
