I've made a better screenshothttp://i54.tinypic.com/fxgcnp.png Excellent, thank you! Glad we've got a pic of her exact setting Gonna have a look at that link later... ha ha that's ok Frida everyone makes mistakes sometimes ,i love all your work you put in to this topic You're so sweet, thank you You're promoted. This is the bracelet she wore in Poland, etc. That isn't it, BUT she HAS worn this ring in the past. I can't remember off the top of my head, but we'll figure it out. Also, I'm not convinced on the bracelet from the Country Music Awards, or NMQP. Her NMQP bracelet is yellow gold and without seeing the Rafinity clasp, we can't be sure. Her CMA bracelet seems much more malleable than the Rafinity piece. 1) I thought to at first too, but after looking at Thomas' HQs I don't think it is. The rings on the Rafinity piece seem to be the same size, and Celine's consist of two different ones, and I don't think it's got to do with the angles (the large rings are linked together by smaller ones) 2) You sure you're not thinking about the Piaget flower ring? 3) Had a look in Thomas' gallery again, and you're right, they're not the ones... But I'll upload the other two pieces later today Working on a few other things right now... MTJ Posted October 2, 2011 at 02:38 PM Posted October 2, 2011 at 02:38 PM You're right about the chain links. I knew they were supposed to be different sizes, I just got excited and forgot. I am sure I'm not thinking of the Piaget ring. I remember looking at one of her rings and thinking it was Piaget, but it wasn't. I'll find it sometime, but I'm in no rush today. Quote
Frida Posted October 2, 2011 at 03:29 PM Author Posted October 2, 2011 at 03:29 PM (edited) Dear Frida! Sorry, if it has been asked before: What do you think did one costume of the show cost? Thank you!!!!!! Don't have any exact prices unfortunately, especially not for the HC pieces... The gold version of the black Balmain dress (Bond medley) is estimated to cost $33,600, the black one can't be far off.The same source says the shorter gold dress has an estimate of $30,700. I believe Celine's fringed RDMH number is in the same region as that... The Elie Saab... Beaded RTW dress can easily start at $10,000, but since this is haute couture I think you have to triple that amount. The same goes for the Atelier Versace pieces, and the absolute custom designed ones (the white one-sleeve dress, and I believe the grey/black striped one) will undoubtedly be more. There are never any exact prices when it comes to couture, it all depends on the design, the client's measurements, the materials used.. I mean there really is no roof, I saw a dress a few years ago estimated at a couple of hundred thousand dollars... The gold Givenchy jacket is also haute couture, so definitely over $20,000 I'd say (I know it's just a jacket, but based on the work that goes into such a detailed piece) The Lanvin dress she wore during rehearsals is RTW so I can't imagine that being more than $10,000? I believe the hologram dress is custom Lanvin, so >$20,000? Can't imagine those prices being as high as Atelier Versace for example... What do you think Michael? Her body's so thin after that huge pregnancy-belly. Althoug in some scenes you can see a small belly ... that's just so terrific. Showing that she's a woman like everyone else ... I bet she wears shapewear when doing interviews/dressed up for soundchecks etc., but I don't think she is with the first Armani Privé show piece for example. That type of dress is so structured there's really no need for shapewear when there's a corset in the actual dress... But what do I know Quote http://i129.photobucket.com/albums/p234/celinedion_56/tcc2copy3_zps08f18352.pnghttp://i129.photobucket.com/albums/p234/celinedion_56/tccgallery-1.png
MTJ Posted October 2, 2011 at 10:37 PM Posted October 2, 2011 at 10:37 PM What do you think Michael? It's so hard to say. This isn't like last time, when they bought the J Mendel and McQueen from RTW. The old RDMH dress probably cost what, $11-15,000? I agree with Frida that the unused Lanvin dress is probably in the same price range. However, every thing that ended-up in the show is much more expensive. Balmain, yes, probably $30-50,000 each (keep in mind that there are three of each dress). I really don't know enough about HC to say any more, but I will say that I would be shocked if they spent less than $1 million on all of Celine's shoes (including those that they didn't use for the show), costumes (including the extra copies), and jewelry. Btw, didn't we read somewhere that all the jewelry in the show is Bulgari? When the first images of Celine's costumes were released in those cut-out photos (during rehearsals), the sources said that all the jewelry is Bulgari. I'm sure it's mostly custom. I bet she wears shapewear when doing interviews/dressed up for soundchecks etc., but I don't think she is with the first Armani Privé show piece for example. That type of dress is so structured there's really no need for shapewear when there's a corset in the actual dress... But what do I know Agreed. We've seen the Armani Prive gown on the hanger - it holds itself straight up! Celine just mentioned in one of the new interviews that the couturiers had to squeeze her in like a sausage. Quote

I know they did that for the TCWT, but she doesn't really run around sweating like a pig in this show, does she? Should be the gold Balmain perhaps, but I think the couture pieces are OOAK (and dry cleaned of course) 3) Yeah that's the figure I had in mind as well regarding wardrobe budget Quote http://i129.photobucket.com/albums/p234/celinedion_56/tcc2copy3_zps08f18352.pnghttp://i129.photobucket.com/albums/p234/celinedion_56/tccgallery-1.png

Why? The show premiered in spring 2003. That's really weird. They were probably trying to trick us. . . Sorry for the confusion, I was referring to the McQueen dress. I'm sure Gianni Versace was at least $30k. Isn't it made with real gold thread and pearls? Crazy. . . I know they have three of each. Annie said in one of her interviews this June that they had been stressed during the first month because the copies weren't finished yet. By the second run (June, wasn't it?) they had everything finished. I wish I could remember where I read that, but my memory isn't great. lol Quote

riobeard11 Posted October 3, 2011 at 02:49 AM Posted October 3, 2011 at 02:49 AM So happy on her Balmain choice for the Bond segment of the show after seeing the other option in the OWN special. It's WAY better! Also, I wouldn't be surprised if she has the standard 2-3 copies of each one again. Did anyone else notice it looked like the sleeve (on the white one sleeved dress) had a different sleeve during her fittings? Love that she made changes last minute. Also...I would like to point out her Sunglass Hut - esque WALL she had in her closet. Don't you all have a lit wall for all of your glasses? Quote
