I am relieved that I am not the only one who is disappointed

Well - acctually I was expecting to feel like that before the concert

 

The quite empty stadion was dissaponting

and I had the bad luck, that the people around me didn t even clap, some leaved before LCMM (Block 1)!

 

I missed passion and fun in Celine`s performance , she didnt show a lot of ambition to get in touch with the audiance

 

there were technical problems as well - the video screens weren't synch to the sound, she obvioursly used playback, which is really an inpertinance considering the ticket price! :nono:

 

The greatest moment for me was "My love" and I enjoyed "Man's world"

 

So I try to keep the memories of the overwhelming, fabulous 1999 concert in Munich

As I've read your review from Munich I'm starting to not regret the Hamburg...Altough It was my first time to see Celine and I was too in shock and bla bla bla...she seemed like she wanted just to do her job and drive back to the hotel...

Well, I dind't have that feeling!!!

It seemed to me she was in touch with us, maybe it's just my opinion because she looked at me so many times, but I don't think she just wanted to do the show and run to the hotel as soon as possible!

The stage was not the one she had during the other concerts, but who cares if we saw her before/during the intro video?! I was so happy to see her on stage, I dind't care if the concert was not started yet!

I don't agree with you, to me it's been a great concert, if I could choose to see this or the Amsterdam's one again ... I would turn back time to yesterday night!!!

But it's just my point of view...

freakyali I was to close to not see her being a bit scary and out of what was happing...maybe It was my imagination for that monent.. or maybe I' ve been expecting something more... I'm so happy THat I was there couse I had the greatest seats I could and will never have in the future concerts. I'd say that despite We're the champions the hole concert was just "standard". Amsterdam was to big to be that great as Hamburg that;'s my opinion:P

HEY Guys, I just come back from Munich, after my first Celine Dion concert.

 

I had a great place: A3, 4th row seat 16, i was in front of the middle of the stage.

I was a bit sad because of the empty stadium, but since it's only in Germany, I can live with that.

 

I can't talk too much about the concert itself, because I think I was in a 'trance' and I just looked at Celine and didn't recognize or realize too much.

 

I just found that she didn't talk very much to the crowd. But the crowd was very annoying too, so I don't know if the crowd was boring because of Celine, or if Celine was bored by the crowd. LOL

 

What was horrible: Before 'PQTME' she said the same stuff, exactly the same, like on the Vegas DVD:' this song was my biggest french success, it talks about somebody loving someone so much... BLABLA... the song was written by JJG an it is called PQTME.'

She could maybe change the disc sometimes. LOL

 

Otherwise it was a great experience to see my darling live, and she was doing a great job with all the songs that were live...

I loved 'My Love' too, but I think the tears are acted a bit too much. But I like, Céline the drama queen.

Alone was great too, and the new i'm alive version. Show must go on was so cool and entertaining and I have a new favorite song: River deep, Mountain high:)

 

When the playback of IACBTMN stopped, that was so funny Not for Celine, but for me. She can be lucky that the playback started again exactly at the same stage of the song that she was lipping.

 

Celine looked really good, better than in TV and I hope I'll be able to see her again soon. I'm even more fan now than before, even though the show was not perfect in my opinion...

I love you Celine...

it's too bad to see mixed reviews for this concert! I think 6 concerts was too much for Germany alone! 4 would have been enough! others could have been added on a later date!

 

One thing I don't understand... why didn't Céline just SING IACBTMN when the playback got interupted??!! she knows the song doesn't she??!!

Kinda strange to see Celine walking to her dressing tent on stage before the intro movie startet - that took the "wow"-effect away completely. The people around me were like "what the hell is that...??"

Same situation in Macau. So sad it happened to me!

 

 

 

 

My heart was beating as hell when the playback during "It's All Coming Back To Me" now stopped and the big LED screen switched off for a couple of seconds She was sooo lucky that she did the right thing by continuing to lip... if she had stopped for only some seconds it would have been a mess when the playback started again!! But she was soooo nervous and shocked after this and always looked to the sound engineer.. you could really see that she was breathing really fast because of her nervosity that it could happen again during "To Love You More"
