I used a Samsung L100R for KC but I'll be using a Panasonic Lumix TZ5 for my last two shows. I noticed this was what the6thday used to get those HD videos and that's what I wanted it for. :yahoo:

I want All By Myself in HD from you! I expect nothing less :giggle:

My TZ5 is definately going with me, that's no problem since it fits in my pocket but I had something different in mind ;)

Anyway, near all my equipment is definately going with me to Canda, i'll see there if it's possible to bring it in or not.

That's what I love about airlines, you can bring a lot of luggage with you, even if you are just going for a couple of days :icon_mrgreen:

Hehe, I just got this same camera (TZ5) this week! (mainly for the upcoming concerts. :P )

Any specific tips on how to get good shots? I'm not sure how to adjust the settings...so I think I'm just going to leave it on the Auto Mode...or maybe one of the indoor scene settings?

I took pictures with the TZ5 during the concert in Antwerp last year with the following settings:

- Automatic (red camera on the swith above)

- Shutterspeed: Max 1/30

- ISO: 100 ISO

- Stabilisation: Program 1 (I think, need to check this)

- NO Flash

You need a steady hand and a good place but you can make nice pictures with those settings (check my pictures a page back or so) ;)

Good luck!

How can you hold the TZ5 without blocking the mic?! It's going to be a trial not blocking it all the time -_-

I did! Will post them on the San Juan thread.

The nice thing about this camera is that it takes HD videos...but boy are they huge! A 6-7 min clip was almost 1 GB!

They just announced the new version of the camera last week actually (TZ6 and TZ7).

:w00t: I saw the new models, wish I haven't gotten my FZ28 last year. :ermm:

To bad the TZ7 isn't yet available otherwise I would have bought one as a backup for my backup camera :icon_mrgreen:

Bad news... No credentials are given for the shows in Montréal since they are additional shows :(

It will be the TZ5 for taking pictures although I think i'm going to sneek my Nikon inside. I'll probably give it a try :icon_mrgreen:

I saw ppl with DSLRs at the PR show and they were able to get in...so it's worth a try...just make sure you have your backup!

I wish I had two sets of hands so I use one camera for video and one for pictures... ^_^
