international appeal...i guess that's why MAriah is introduced as the biggest selling female ever on every single show she's been on recently in US.Also how come she's the biggest ever in Japan and Asia

Celine has international appeal?..OH sold 1 million in US and another million in Europe  

 

meanwhile Mariah scanned another 180.000. copies in US this week with few percent increase from last week  and is expected to come @#1 again next week on Billboard hot 200 albums.

maybe in Japan it's true, but not in asia, at least not in China. Celine is the best known singer in China cause of MHWGO, most people don't know which song Mariah sang or who she is. and Celine has the best selling single by Female artist, and best selling single in decades in Japan.

 

compare OH to Mariah's Charmbracelet. and ANDHC to MIMI. Celine still sold many more. and Celine almost did no promo for OH album at all. while Mariah always promo her albums, singles in every way, including use her HUGE boobs.

actually there was a poll conducted during CB era in China era and MAriah was voted as favorite diva ever by over 77% votes.

ANHC was in 2002 while there was no downloading..Usher sold 8 million in US ,that would be 16 million in 1995..

MAriah will sell 5 million in US and that would be 10 million in 1995..

that's how sales are..

ANDHC sold 4 million in US and 3 million in EU

OH sold 2-3 million WW,CB sold 4 million WW

 

Mimi will probably be one of Mariah's most successful albums ever in US...

Mariah is featured on the cover of the latest edition of the Chinese magazine, Crazy English Reader. The readers of the publication participated in an online poll, which asked who the best international diva was.

 

77% of the readers voted Mariah as their favorite diva. Whitney Houston and Celine Dion only received 23% combined. A picture of the magazine is shown to your right. Click it for a larger view.

After five days of being on sale, the 8,000 available $15-priced tickets were sold out, with other tickets such as V.I.P. packages also selling respectably."

ANHC was in 2002 while there was no downloading

how come I downloaded ANDHC from internet before it was released? and there're tons of big share music sites which was not closed cause of RIAA share ANDHC online at that time. it's even more difficult to find new albums than in 2002 now. cause most sites don't dare to put http links for download.

Mariah China is the lamest site I've ever seen. maybe it's a poll run by themselves. their news have no credit at all.

EDIT: I just checked the pic you showed, it's a magazine teach you to learn English from English songs. it's even not a music magazine at all. and Celine was almost on every issue of it.

this is such a big news to me. do you know almost every press in China called Mariah's concert in China as big flop. and many Chinese press call Mariah as Aunt instead of Sister since that concert. you know the $200 V.I.P. ticket is only $2 for sale before the concert start, and still can't sell out. the scalpers lost so much money on this concert.

 

 

and I think we have already agreed all singers sales data are not real, believe what you think is true. why you like to prove Mariah is #1 on a Celine forum? you know no one believe that anyway. so why keep trying in vain. I see no point to do this at all.

I don't care what she is compared to a redone photo. She's not fat. I just saw her today in that outfit that you have above (the army jacket) and the woman is NOT fat. She's a voluptuous girl, but not fat. I bet she's quite safely in the range of an adequate healthy weight. She's not very, very thick either.

It's not her trying to mislead the public. It's the record companies who want to sell as many copies of the CD to mindless, superficial fools as possible. It's not the artist who says, "gee, air brush me until I no longer look like myself." It's the people who get the money in their palms who do it...and the saddest part is that they're doing what the public will respond to. It's the public's fault too.

Yes, Mariah does care about her image. When she came to Italy to perform on a music festival, she preferred to be introduced by the shorter host. There were two girls hosting the show, but the other was taller than Mariah. The host herself revealed that. I'm not talking about rumors.

 

BTW, Mariah HAS the possibility and the right to tell the record company to not use so fake covers for her albums. She doesn't do. So, she agrees with this misleading adv. Even if sometimes Céline's photos get photoshopped Céline looks like the "real" Céline. Mariah doesn't look like the "real" Mariah on TEOM's cover. She looks more like Beyoncé. FACT! It's not just about photoshopping her face to look younger, it is to modify her whole body: her legs, her arms... But if she is happy with this, let her doing whatever she wants. I don't really care.
