I was making a statement on never ever having something good to say. I mean there's a point where you have to stop and think why even bother if it's all negative. Know what I mean.

 

Because the negative opinion isn't any less valid than your positive one? The whole "OMIGOD YOU GUYS BE POSITIVE" stuff is almost (if not more) irritating than the negative opinions. Don't police other peoples' opinions.

ok maybe I am not making myself clear but people seem to think that it should be all positive all the time. That is certainly not the case. I was only making a comment that it seems that some never ever have anything good to say about anything that she does. I never meant for it to be a OMG everyone has to be positive about everything that she does. Certainly not. She's not perfect whatsoever. I also never said that the negative opinions are less valid then the positive ones. They are as important as the positive ones. However as I've mentioned before being negative all the time is irritating as anything just as is being always positive about everything she does. Didn't I also mention that people can have their own opnions. yeah I think I did, so I wasn't policing them as that is not my place. Then again you're also judging my opinions so we're even!

I somewhat agree.

I can listen to the album if I want to hear the album version... but nevertheless I am still excited to see it!

That special was HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOTTT!! I LOOOOOVED IT! That performance with Josh was just magical! And her song with Joe Walsh was just heavenly. Perfectly understated performance, and she sounded like silk. She was absolutely on fire with all the dancing, GURL HAS MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVES! Anyone that doesn't think she's gorgeous simply doesn't have eyeballs. I loved it!

 

I actually still very much prefer the album version of Eyes on Me, but this was pretty fun for a difference. Celine, you go GURL! Love ya babe!

Well, I thought Celine looked amazing tonight! I almost died when I saw her in that black suit for Eyes On Me, and that short dress for River Deep Mountain High! :D

 

I was pretty fustrated with the whole lip synching thing. She was amazing when she sang The Prayer and Something live, so she should've sand the whole show live. The Eyes On Me remix was AMAZING. I really want it to be released as a single!

 

All in all, it was a good special, but I wish there could've been more live singing and questions. It felt a bit rushed. I wanted more audience interaction.

Exaclty! It screams radio top 20 (at least)! :P

The only thing I miss is the backing vocals.

Loved "The Prayer" and "Something", for obvious reasons. The "Eyes on Me" remix was amazing -- that should be a single!! Loved it. She looked amazing -- and even though it wasn't live I loved "That's Just the Woman in Me" with her flirting with André, that was adorable!

So far, the show is going good. It's happening here on the west coast right now. I'm loving it so far. I do hope that we do get more songs from Taking Chances. I got to hear Eyes On Me. Or if not, I would be happy with I Drove All Night.
