Celine's comeback to Las Vegas - March 2011

I am so excited! Now the hard decision- do I buy tix for the first 2 shows or the first 4 shows and make it an uber week?

I do wish we could see the dates/schedule though- We were planning on moving to Vegas but if it's going to be ya know, only like 3 months scattered throughout the yr don't know if it would be worth it to move.

 

yeah I'm definetly going for the first two shows. I'm getting a headache thinking about if I should make it 3 or 4 shows.

I have to travel for 18 hours to get to Las Vegas so I almost think that 2 shows isn't enough for a trip that is so expensive and takes so long

thanks. Im still sooo confused , hearing everyones different experiences of buying tickets etc etc. I really dont knoe what to do as i hardly ever go to concerts. All i know is i want a really good seat, but my experience with ticket master has always been crapp seats no matter how early i am online to buy them! but at this moment in time, i cannot afford to pay crazy prices for it either! i need to win the lotto asap! I got 2nd and 3rd row seats several times thru Ticketmaster online.

Yep, with the TeamCeline presale! But who knows if they're going to give us one...

 

Am I the only one FREAKING out here?! We have less then one week to decide if we want to go, when we want to go and on top of that to save money for tickets (...and airline tickets etc.). Not everyone in the world has money growing out of their back . They aren't giving people who don't have a lot of money a fair chance on getting good tickets.

 

I'm sorry for the negativity, but I just don't think that they are treating the fans fair.

Ditto. This is very unfair to the fans... We don't even know the name of the show, or the specific dates she will be there. They'll probably finally post those on the 11th.

 

Anyone have any clue as to if all 70 shows will go onsale at once... or just like, March and April first?

 

And what exactly is the brilliant plan if Céline does, hopefully, get pregnant?

I'm just really surprised, and unsure about it all really. I can't buy tickets until much later in the year. Until i know a lot more about this show, and if she really is in NY for IVF right now ( and it works) she'll be due around end of Oct. Would she really want to start rehearsals and be back on stage 5 months later? I'm just so confused and a bit worried. Saying that though, i would love to see her on stage again. I just don't know

 

Oh, and to answer previous questions about TC comps for Vegas. Yes they were worth entering. I won 2 front row tickets, a signed show program and photo, and a meet and greet. Definitely the best comp i have ever entered! And they had to stop the comp in the final year cos they gave you a year to claim your prize - for the people who had to travel far etc you have to save up your money, organize time off work etc. Think they could have replaced it with the grand prize (flights + hotel included) every few months tho. After all, its not like they didn't make much money from the show is it??

There are very few people are as lucky as you on TC.

I wouldn't worry about that. I looked up her tickets too, on Stubhub and it's the front row, center tickets that go for $1,600+ If your willing to sit a few seats back, the price isn't as bad. I saw a row six, center for $445. Still expensive, but to be quite honest. Not as much as I expected. I'm hoping the price is similar or lower for Céline's show.

a lot of stuff on stub hub are people selling it for WAY over the original. So I'm sure front row seats to Cher weren't actually that much. ooh but 225$ isn't so bad. I'm willing to pay that for front row. I hope its the same for this show, if not less. I just hope its not more. I know it may seem like a lot but honestly once you get that front row experience, you won't mind paying a little more for it again. It is unreal. I don't even know what it was like for AND but even with the tour it was amazing....I can't imagine it with a stage where she is basically 5 ft away from you. Maybe it will be less, because there aren't as many special effects????

Yeah, I was just checking Ticketmaster as well and there's nothing. I kind of was waiting for this..... And now if you ask TM it's gonna be just another "glitch" and still the tickets will go on sale on Friday.

I highly recommend front row, if you're lucky enough to score a seat. Sitting front row during the tour was like tenth row compared to how it is in Vegas. She is literally right there. I was so blessed I had the chance.

It's more than a little crazy, in my opinion. We should be more informed... But I suppose we should be used to this treatment by now.

 

Getting good seats later... I don't know. I suppose it will depend on how much they promote the show, and how many people know about it. Being that there will only be 70 shows in the first year, it might be hard. She performed 160-200 shows every year during A New Day..., so that's a lot less than before.

 

This is breaking my heart... I thought we had more time. Hopefully it's meant to be, and everything will work out.
