I'm way excited about Vegas and I guess I should be used to not having any notice by now?? anyone remember how much notice we had in 2002? I think not much but my memory sucks. Davey84 Posted February 6, 2010 at 06:48 PM Posted February 6, 2010 at 06:48 PM I hope this isnt a stupid question or anything but is there an age restriction on getting in? yeah you have to be at least 55 years old to get in! but no there's not Céline gave roses to many childern during the show! I guess only SM was a time to close their eyes with all the homo erotica going on! Sometimes when I watch that clip from the DVD, I cannot help but wonder what goes through Celine's mind and what it does to her...Sorry for going off topic, but I think it is funny actually. well I kinda went ooooh http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v75/daveyh84/incognito198701_zpsaaootxh1.jpgRick, ik hou van jou voor altijd!A New Day... has come 28/29 April & 2/3 May 07Antwerpen 13 et 14 mai,Paris 24 et 25 mai, Amsterdam 2 juinet Arras 7 juillet Chances Taken!!!How Do You Keep The Music Playing? - Celine Opening Night March 15th, March 16th
BLM Posted February 6, 2010 at 07:16 PM Posted February 6, 2010 at 07:16 PM Spoke to Caesars Palace this morning and the hotel has not heard nor can confirm the Ticketmaster posting. Spoke to someone at Ticketmaster (management area) he stated that they got the information from the promoters of the show, however, couldn't tell me who is promoting Ms. Dion Show in Vegas (AEG, Live Nation, etc.) I couldn't speak to Caesars Box Office since they don't open until 1 pm eastern time. You would think the Venue would be the first to know when Ms. Dion is appearing at there facility keep us informed, and BTW what is the # for TM. so that I can call as well. Ticketmaster 1-800-745-3000 - I spoke with a person in promotion and management area at Ticketmaster. Just to let you know I've spoken to Ticketmaster twice, both times they stated the posting on the internet is not an error. I just spoke to the Colosseum and they stated to make sure and watch Oprah's show with Ms Dion on February 10th for a special announcement.
angelil78 Posted February 6, 2010 at 07:45 PM Posted February 6, 2010 at 07:45 PM but from what the people in the audience said, she didn't say that much at all. Just it will begin in March 2011, big orchestra and that's all. Maybe they have prepared a video about it, that wasn't shown to the audience?

Lol so they want us to wait til the 10th for this announcement and buy tickets on the 12th????? THanks for all the notice. Not everyone has $300 plus bucks laying around to buy tickets in just two days notice. and the people in the audience said they talked about the starting date March 15th. angelil78 Posted February 6, 2010 at 08:02 PM Posted February 6, 2010 at 08:02 PM I think that when I bought tickets to the premiere of AND, I bought them in May, less than year before the premiere. This is more than a year ahead, this is all so weird
dj4celine Posted February 6, 2010 at 08:23 PM Posted February 6, 2010 at 08:23 PM And what's with that freakin logo ?? I agree. They just ruined a classic picture If they want to do the big band orchestra kinda thingy, I would rather choose some other picture to go along with the ... logo But regarding the sudden appearance of the logo in the Ticketmaster website just shows how badly it is being handled this time. Last time almost everyone knew what Celine was gonna do cos she promoted the show while promoting ANDHC but this time nada. It seems Celine's management thinks that they'll surprise us with the news and all her fans would rush to buy tickets (which some of us defo would) but all the seats are not going to be filled with just the fans. They need other people as well to see the show but with almost no promotion, other than the Oprah show, I wonder how they want to handle this LV concert. Anyways, I really want to go see her this time as I couldn't when AND was going on
MarinaK Posted February 6, 2010 at 08:29 PM Posted February 6, 2010 at 08:29 PM Cheerfulljane : Thank you Can i ask, does ticket exchange mean that if you but tickets and decide you have changed your mind , is it that you can exchange them through ticketmaster for another date without losing out money? thanks It basically means that you sell your tickets back to TM. It's also a place that you can buy really good tickets long after they first go on sale, but at a much higher price. For example: I bought front row seats for the Toronto show for $800 each. yea thats the only way i got good tickets too. We bought front row for Toronto as well, but for 500 each (it was off by the aisle). everytime i went on ticketmaster for general tickets, i got bad seats. its the option if you really want a dream come true..lol cuz for me, i can NEVER get good seats.
ennostiel Posted February 6, 2010 at 08:30 PM Posted February 6, 2010 at 08:30 PM OK so is is best to buy tickets via TM, or call TM, or call and book at the Ceasars' Palace directly? And what about TeamCeline discounts? I've never bought tickets for her Vegas shows before, please help guys! And I guess at such short notice we don't stand a chance to reserve a row or two just for the Forum for the opening night?? Ce n'est qu'en te croisantQue j'ai su, j'ai compris... I seen somebody say earlier that they weren't 18 so they were too young or something and i almost had a heart attack! Oh i don't think they minded that! it wasn't event that bad!lol! Thanks for the reply!
autumnskies00 Posted February 6, 2010 at 08:56 PM Posted February 6, 2010 at 08:56 PM Just need to say this because I don't want people getting caught up into the BULLSHIT that is ticketexchange. I did for the TCWT and didn't realize their tactics until maybe the last show. Ticketmaster will put tickets on sale for regular prices, they will then take a whole chunk of tickets (before even giving them a chance to sell for normal prices) and sell them for double on ticketexchange. TE is supposed to be where people can re-sell their tickets if they can't use them anymore...and some of the sales on there are actually from real people, but TM uses it to try and get people to purchase tickets for more than double their worth. They are actually getting sued by some musicians for this. I think U2 is one of them. The crappy thing is that they'll take away our chances to get good seats by trying to sell them for more money because they take a lot of front row seats and other good seats right away to sell them on TE. I spent 500$ plus buying fron row seats from them...when the real price was less than $200. Anyway, what I have found is that closer to the concert, they begin to release the tickets that aren't selling for their crazy prices back onto TM for normal prices. So if you don't get the seats you wanted just be careful and don't spend crazy amounts of money on them right away on TE. They usually start to go down as they don't sell too. http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b213/autumnskies00/siggy1-2.jpg
Cheerfuljane Posted February 6, 2010 at 09:14 PM Posted February 6, 2010 at 09:14 PM Yeah, well, that's no secret about TM. It sucks, but it's just the way it is.So if you can't buy tickets when they go on sale, you end up with no choice but to pay the high prices for scalper tickets from places like stubhub and not get great seats or pay the EXTREMELY high prices from TE and get great seats. Once again, it sucks, but we have no choice

I got 3rd row, and 2nd row in Montreal by waiting until 2 weeks before...and all at original price. And they said they were sold out before then cause they were all on TE instead. http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b213/autumnskies00/siggy1-2.jpg
angelil78 Posted February 6, 2010 at 09:25 PM Posted February 6, 2010 at 09:25 PM I've bought tickets through Ticket Master (Team Celine) to see Céline in Las Vegas twice without any problems at all. Just remember, you have to pick up the tickets at Caesars Palace, they don't send them to you

It's just that when I read that the tickets are going on sale friday, I was like: Where did that all of a sudden come from! Well, nobody's going to stop me from going, that's for sure. I became a fan 2 months after she'd been in Holland, and I was really upset that I missed that. autumnskies00 Posted February 6, 2010 at 10:12 PM Posted February 6, 2010 at 10:12 PM If you can't get tickets next week...there are always ways closer to the show. I went to 10 TCWT shows, and only one pair of tickets was bought on the day they went on sale. Theres ebay, ticketexchange (if you want to spend $$$$), ticketmaster releases more tickets as the show gets closer, stubhub, fans on here selling extras...etc. I'm hoping to have my tax refund by then lol but if not, I'll probably end up waiting and doing it this way. They always say they're sold out...but they aren't. Lots of the tickets that are sold are bought by scalpers trying to get higher prices for the tickets so they always end up getting re-sold online somewhere, and once they realize no one is falling for that, they lower the prices. http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b213/autumnskies00/siggy1-2.jpg

I think I would have delayed that for a month or two if I'd known about this. I think us fans are being treated very badly now. Las time they gave us a lot more time notice and now we get a few days. I'm not a very happy fan at the moment.
celine4evauk Posted February 6, 2010 at 10:35 PM Posted February 6, 2010 at 10:35 PM I'm just really surprised, and unsure about it all really. I can't buy tickets until much later in the year. Until i know a lot more about this show, and if she really is in NY for IVF right now ( and it works) she'll be due around end of Oct. Would she really want to start rehearsals and be back on stage 5 months later? I'm just so confused and a bit worried. Saying that though, i would love to see her on stage again. I just don't know Oh, and to answer previous questions about TC comps for Vegas. Yes they were worth entering. I won 2 front row tickets, a signed show program and photo, and a meet and greet. Definitely the best comp i have ever entered! And they had to stop the comp in the final year cos they gave you a year to claim your prize - for the people who had to travel far etc you have to save up your money, organize time off work etc. Think they could have replaced it with the grand prize (flights + hotel included) every few months tho. After all, its not like they didn't make much money from the show is it??
