Celine's comeback to Las Vegas - March 2011

I'm just really surprised, and unsure about it all really. I can't buy tickets until much later in the year. Until i know a lot more about this show, and if she really is in NY for IVF right now ( and it works) she'll be due around end of Oct. Would she really want to start rehearsals and be back on stage 5 months later? I'm just so confused and a bit worried. Saying that though, i would love to see her on stage again. I just don't know

 

Oh, and to answer previous questions about TC comps for Vegas. Yes they were worth entering. I won 2 front row tickets, a signed show program and photo, and a meet and greet. Definitely the best comp i have ever entered! And they had to stop the comp in the final year cos they gave you a year to claim your prize - for the people who had to travel far etc you have to save up your money, organize time off work etc. Think they could have replaced it with the grand prize (flights + hotel included) every few months tho. After all, its not like they didn't make much money from the show is it??

There are very few people are as lucky as you on TC.

Wow!!! This is so poorly planned. I have a strong feeling that they've postponed when tickets go on sale, but it's still nerve-racking. I mean, wouldn't TM want to put it in one of their "upcoming shows" email? There is so much promotion that could be done. It would just be stupid for tickets to go on sale two days after the official announcement. I'm actually surprised that TM hasn't sent out an email claiming when tickets are going on sale, they seem to be jumping the gun a lot.

the website is really un user friendly when you go about trying to join! they ask for address to send out a package or something? weird....you should not have to wait 7 working days to get all the benifits......I d be so mad if i joined today and if the tickets went on sale on friday.....when your travelling across the world and all !!!!ahhhhh!

I don't know what you should do, $40 is a lot of money. I would think that we should get some discount on LV tickets.

 

And I almost think that the tickets wont go on sale on friday, that they realized that this was to quick

Well, here's the thing: If tickets go on sale on Friday, then all the scalper sites will buy them out because us poor souls will not have enough money to buy them just yet.

And even if you do, it's extremely unlikely that they'll put the good seats on sale now. They will wait until a few weeks before so they can hold them for VIPs and big spenders.

 

You may be able to detect that I'm furious This is a huge slap in the face for us and I'm close to organizing a boycott !!

 

Come on ya'll !! Let's protest

They should give us a least a month before the tickets go on sale. And in that month they should tell us all about the show and the dates.

 

But I think that in the commercials at Oprah on feb 10th, there will be a commercial about this. Something that the fans at the show were not allowed to see

 

If they are waiting for the Oprah screening that's all very well. But what about the rest of the world? Where the Oprah show is months behind?? We have to rely on the internet and hearing news from other people.

 

And i personally am all for the tickets coming out quickly if it means us TC members get priority etc. That's what we pay for. Perhaps they're against people only joining the fanclub for this - and its not particularly fair on us fans who are members regardless of ticket sales.

lool And i vote for C Come on Celine admitted that she will return during 2011 on Oprah.We have nothing to afraid of.They are still preparing the dates

Okay, just got off the phone with Ticketmaster. Here's the latest version as to why the "promo" was removed again regarding Ms. Dion. I was told by Ticketmaster that some promoters of their Venues have the capability to go into Ticketmaster and update, remove, add, etc. information regarding their specific event.

 

My response to Ticketmaster was "well that doesn't make Ticketmaster look good in the eyes of their customers and definitely isn't good business practices for them - case in point - Ms. Dion's Vegas Event Promo"!

I'd say fair in conjunction with perks to membership!! Other stuff TC has done over the years hasn't been, that's true.

I just renewed my TC about a month ago and when you purchase the membership, they immediately send you an email with an activation code to register and get into the TC website so you should be able to use the TC "benefits" right away. Then they send a package with your letter and membership card and gift in the mail.

Putting tickets on sale right after Oprah and the launch of "Through the eyes of the world" is brilliant. They've always put her concert tickets on sale way in advance and it's seemed to work.

 

After people see the movie they will be convinced of her performing power and the sheer brillance of her talent hence scooping up tickets.

 

Compare the numbers Celine drew last year compared to Mariah Carey's latest numers....shes only getting like2-3000 a night. and her stage presence is pathetic. We should be SOO proud of our diva. She is QUEEN>

I guess I would have no complaints if I actually had the money to buy tickets...but seeing as the recession hit us here in the states...I have no money! I guess that makes me a member of the "poor souls" I dunno, wish they'd wait till mid year of 2010 to put tickets on sale..it'd give us all a chance to save up.

I'm pretty sure you would be, as all you need to activate your membership is that activation code they send in the email. Let's hope we actually get a pre-sale and that the TC block of seats are better than the regular seats!
