Celine's comeback to Las Vegas - March 2011

i don't think it's possible for her to get twins, cos the egg is only furtilized with one sperm cell, i think LOL

and yeah Bette is still 'officially' the headliner, but Cher is selling out every show! :yes: I wish she recorded that damn new album though! :glare:

Yeah but when they do the treatment they usually put a few furtilized eggs since just doing one may not take. Or the egg can split i believe but im not all medically trained ha. :blink:

Was she supposed to make a new CD?? Im not huge fan of hers but some of her music is okay, with her you can really tell when she lips and sings live.

IVF gives quite a high chance of multiple births. Most IVF twins are fraternal twins. i.e. If they implant 3 embryos in Celine's uterus, and 2 of them successfully become babies. In this case, the babies would probably not look alike. It could even be one boy and one girl.

Twins would be awesome. But she just needs to have a healthy and happy baby. ( And it needs to be a girl.)

That would be crasy to name any baby that. I dont know about other places but movie stars and singers here in the u.s. name their children some crazy names. Names like days of the week and cities like VEGAS. Some are not to bad but its SO annoying to me at least.

I know we all say what if this what if that BUT what if she has another baby and decides you know, i have enough money and a great house, my husbands getting older why not settle down and enjoy what i have worked for my whole life. I DONT want that but what if she did.. Im kind of sad thinking about that..

Yeah, that's what I meant. I was so excited for Ashlee Simpson when she was pregnant...and then she gave birth and called him Bronx. :huh: (Who I still refer to as "emo baby.")

The thought of her retiring is a strange one. A few times she seemed to have every intention of doing that, but other times she talks about the future as if she never plans to stop singing. So it's kind of hard to predict what she'll do. Even if she retires, what's to say she wouldn't change her mind again? I hope she'll do what makes her happy, but I also hope that includes something that will allow us to see her, at least every now and then.

Maybe that makes a show in Vegas every now and then not such a bad thing...it's better than nothing.

Yeah a friend of mines named her kid Heaven Nevaeh (heaven spelled backwards) i was like hmm, to much time on your hands but its not totally bad.

Yeah it always freaks me out to know that she would just stop for her family which i know anyone would do that but i still wanna be able to be able to see her some other times in my life and even if i cant i know i could. Im sure as the tour ends we will be hearing more, she couldnt keep her plans private even if she wanted too.

PS if thats your bunny with the santa outfit that is WAY TO CUTE!!

I'm sure Céline will go back to Vegas BUT for a lot less shows than before. So she will be able to enjoy her time with family and do other projects. I think it's a good balance. Because we know she can't stop totally. Well, not more than a year...

If she has a baby, it will be this year. So if she starts Vegas in spring 2010, that gives her a little break.

I heard that Elton John will stop his Vegas show this year. So maybe Céline will take over his "schedule" which isn't that much actually, compared to what she is used to! :wink:

Whatever makes her happy... :yes:

So Bette Midler is STILL the headliner in the case that Celine was for 5 years and Elton John the standin act..Well if Celine will return Bette would still be the Headliner she would still be under contract her picture would be on the Caesars Sign ect..

Celine would do very little shows still have time to record album, promote them and have some family time .Best of Both worlds

I'd love for Celine to go back to LV - it means i get a holiday abroad!!!! It would probably be - as said before- taking over from Elton. Don't you think if she does less shows there's more chance the place will be filled with true fans??!! :clap: She'd love performing at them!!!!

Personally i really hope its not too soon - baby born very late this year or early next year. Hope she has a few months at least to be at home before going into rehearsals etc.

As for baby name - it'll probably have some sort of connection with either Celine's family or Rene's. Maybe named after her father/mother - or maybe even Karine???

I think she's a bit careful with what she's says about it because its IVF and she doesn't want to get her hopes up.Don't blame her either. It doesn't always work.

celine to return to the same stage in las vegas from whence she came from. this tells a lot about the state of celine's career. maybe just maybe her sound will be in vogue again but for now it's a humiliating return to a place where performers with lukewarm to dead careers go to and can only thrive in. she should have never made a big deal about leaving vegas then only to return.

to be honest, when someone disses Celine, i tend to overreact and defend her. but for some reason, i just smiled after reading this comment about her returning to Vegas. why?

Celine's career being "dead"?-yeah right. a top grossing world tour + having a best selling greatest hits album last year + a 3 million selling cd + a hot selling dvd= dead? this guy must be doing drugs or simply living under a rock.

some lambs, or in general, some people are just too bitter to admit that we are still yet to see the artist who can top Celine in her game. FACT.

Well, Elton John's show will be concluding in April of this year so that will leave much more room for Cher and Bette to play. However, this will only go on for so long. All signs are definately pointing to Celine coming back. It will be interesting to see if it will be an A New Day...Part II sort of show, or a more scaled back Celinefest!
