Celine's comeback to Las Vegas - March 2011

I would love to have her back here in vegas! It was so nice because not only was Celine in one place, but a lot of fans came together for once reason: Celine. It was nice to meet so many new people and to do that on many occasions, Vegas is the reason why so many fans became good friends!

Yeah I agree regarding the songlist, if there will be a ''new'' show...there has to be 'new' songs!!

They don't have to be brand new as such, just songs she has never peformed live before/that much, from her albums over the years...and there are loads of good ones to choose from....

Just no more ''Power of love'', or ''My heart will go on''.....please!!!!

Being in vegas, and as shes had some really good duets over the years, I think her duet with Elvis ''If i can dream'' should be in the show, similar to the ''all the way'' performance in A new day... with frank sinatra.

Unless they could do better with top of the range technolgy and use a really good hollogram system, to put elvis next to her, during the performance, that would be cool...

But we shall wait and see how this all unfolds.....

Also still no reply back from Dragone yet.

René is smart! He takes Céline on the road for her to remember what it's like to be away from home for so long... then he suggests going back to Vegas!! So of course Céline wants a more balanced lifestyle after experiencing it for 5 years.

If it's really for 75 shows a year, it's perfect. She will have time to do movies (which she always said she would love to do!!) and record some new music. It's the best of both worlds for her! :yes:

And it sure won't kill her career. She's not at her peak anymore and she knows it. And who cares about the charts? Who remembers the artists that topped the music charts in the last 5 years? And who remembers the concert Queen of Vegas who topped the concert charts for 5 years??? :whistling:

A career is not defined by chart positions, but rather by longevity. And by being able to sell concerts - something that even MOST young hip artists who top the charts can't do!!! And Céline still sells out concerts after all these years!!! I'll go see her in Vegas anytime!! :thumbsup2:

I hate MHWGO..always have..always will..and I hate that she ends every show with it. Vocally, it is not that interesting, and that damn flute makes me sick!

i guess those who want her to go back to L.V. want it because they will(cos i believe she will do it) they will have a chance to see her. Now, please imagine if it wouldn't be Las Vegas, but e.g. Cracow;] five years of Cracow shows. Of course for many of you its like going on holidays, just buy tickets USA-Poland and go and watch her, but believe me, for maaaaaaany fans its impossible to go to Las Vegas. for me too. For me moving back to Vegas means -no Celine for the next X-years.

so it would be great if she went there for 1-2 years & not full time(plus 1 or 2-year break to have a baby), but God, please, no for more than 2 years! I want to see her back in media, see promotions of her new great singles, i want to listen to new tracks, i want to see her while touring, meeting with fans, i just wan her to exist not only in USA, but i want her to be "visible" to the whole world! I want to her to love singing and performing as she used to, i definitely don't want her to became a new-designed robot:(because for me, Las Vegas changed her attitude, she just started to treat her singing like many people treat their job -"X hours and finally hoooooomee...".

Love that! Or how about songs she's never performed live? (And I do mean LIVE: L-I-V-E, not lipped.) I would LOVE for her to perform "Then You Look At Me," "Cherche encore," "Just A Little Bit Of Love," "In His Touch," "If We Could Start Over," "Sorry For Love," "Reteins-moi," "Let Your Heart Decicde," and others.

I don't believe that Celine is not at a peak. The woman has sold out dates all over the world (let's forget those few German shows that weren't sold out...just an example of poor marketing and too many concerts in one place). Everyone knows she's about quality and has more talent than anyone!

She had some poor attendance, but none of the concerts had capacities less than the 4,100 in the Colosseum :giggle:

Maybe she just imagined in her head - "If I were in Vegas, this would be a full house!" :mdr:

Whatever makes her happy, and I think settling down in Vegas and performing a few nights a week while spending time with her family makes her most happy. So good for her then! I'm sure the show will be equally sucessful as the first, and if it is not, then who cares. Celine said it herself.... she performs now only for the pleausre of it, not to sell the most albums and have the most sold out shows. She has nothing to prove.

Well they are planning to buy a house in the luxury suburbs of Paris, in Neuilly Sur Seine...So this en toute intimité concert in paris could be a good idea, for her family stability. And she wouldn't have to worry about desert throat. -_-

Hehe. Darren, I was at a Co.tyrone wedding on Friday- real big farming families- hilarious. The 'DJ' was just brilliant- saying things like "keep her lit" etc. And he played this- what you think of this Celineworld? This is how we do it in N.Ireland!!
