OMG!!! One of the best moment in my life!!

 

As Martin said, i can add she said she may tour the world, but she only had 1 image in her head, and it was the image of tonight.. People went crazy!!

Luc Plamondon was near me and seems pretty bored..

Shadow Of Love, there was 2 person up including me, i think it may be removed for tomorrow's concert..

 

And finally, i TOUCH her hand when she left, i was the last person before she saw René, i yell "Je t'aime Céline" and she took my hand very strong!! Was so shocked and so excited

I also saw the thing she do with her thumbs with all the musicians backstage, was great!! And when Celine sang PQTME, Rene was crying and Denise Bombardier took a picture of him

Her voice was incredible, L'amour existe encore did sound perfect.. I record S'il n'en restait qu'une, L'amour existe encore and This is a man's world. I will record some more tommorow

 

ONE WORD AMAZING!!!!!!!!! what made this concert was the audience, they went crazy! everyone in my area ( team celine floor seating on the south side) stode up for almost every song, you could see it in Celine eyes that she was moved, i've never cheered and screammed so much in my life......... for me perosonally im very happy she sang . the prayer and "L'amour Existe Encore, all by myself, S'Il Suffisait D'Aimer, I was crying and so was everone else, amazing!!!!!!!! Nothing beats seeing celine in her home town!

i am glad that you had a great time. are you going to anymore shows this tour? i can't believe we are at 14 pages and that i am close to 700 posts. does anyone know what song she is doing now or do we have to wait til the end of the show for the posts. if so i will check again tomorrow . also i was wondering after she does my heart will go on does she do anymore encores or is that the end of the show? new to the forum but would like to share my experience

 

bought a ticket on admission's site 3 days before the show and got floor nord, row b, - i didn't know where that was on the chart since the website's seating chart for the floor was terrible and i get there (after dealing with everyone speaking french to me as i am an american) and i am in the 2nd row on the floor, in the EXACT middle of the entire floor - it was amazing!!!

on my side, there were seats split into seats of 15 - so there's about 45 seats in each row split into 3 groups so i was in the middle group, middle seat so it was just great!

 

I will say that our side, the "north" where her band/singers/piano is, is where she spends the MOST amount of time, the people on the "south" side really get shafted (I THINK) - we got the most attention... I didn't understand a word of what was being said in between songs but it just felt great being there...

 

i was hoping for that medley of "it's all coming back to me/to love you more/because you loved me" medley but alas was not given that

 

and that note @ the end of 'power of love', the one with the endless lipping debate; sadly it's not live - sounds exactly the same as the CD and she makes a weird face when she does it as if to say "they better put this note in correctly and not mess it up" and is relieved when its over

 

the show was great

 

some other merchandise including the tour book ($35) were canvas bags (in white and black), posters -from the CD Cover shoot ($10 each-2 diff shots), lanyard ticket holder ($15), glow-light ($10), pins/keychains ($10?) and various shirts and hoodies

 

security was pretty lax - maybe because they wanted to get everyone in

 

celine didn't go on until maybe 8:50pm/9pm?

Celine had 5 costume changes:

 

1. Sparkly pink, skintight minidress - this was the best outfit in my opinion and totally flattering on her!

 

2. Basically a silvery sparkly long tank top type shirt with some black pants and boots. When she first comes out she is also wearing a white cape that floats out behind her quite dramatically. Big sparkly cocktail ring.

 

3. Sparkly white almost a "go-go" style dress with a giant flower necklace and these incredible chunky white shoes that laced up all the way up her legs

 

4. (Encore #1: RDMH) Shiny gold cocktail dress ALMOST the same as the one on the cover of her Las Vegas DVD, but the skirt was a bit different (solid fabric not fringe), and awesome gold stilettos

 

5. (Encore #2, MHWGO, PQTME) Long black dress with what looked like fir on the bottom... peep-toe black stilettos

 

I think I got everything right?!

 

Interesting about the TC floor seats (South side). Did any of you have those seats and what did you think? I was also on the north side (in the 100 section) and I felt like I got to see more of Celine than those to the South. I'm about to buy a TC membership + ticket for February so I can get floor seats, but after seeing the concert I'm worried that once again the North seats are best and I'd be afraid of not seeing enough to the South. What did those of you in the South side think? I may just risk it, wait til the concert date is close, and see if I can get North seats on the floor, but it seems a bit risky...

 

And yes, the way the encores worked: she first came back out and sang RDMH. The second encore, she came out and sang My Heart Will Go On (totally full classic version, by the way) and Pour que tu m'aimes encore.

Hey just got back in from tonights show. I was front row and it was truely amazing. Its a blur because it felt like a dream. The crowd was amazing, she was amazing. I kind of hated when people screamed during the acappella part of my love but it was still beautiful. I'm not french so I didn't understand a lot, but it was still worth the trip. The songs we thought were lip synced I'm almost positive they were live tonight. Everything sounded different than usual. Like good different. Alone was deff live...ummm I can't tell you if the french songs were cause I've never seen them before...taking chances was deff live. No old song medley like POL, TLYM etc...it was french songs instead. Awww just 100% the best night of my life I'm so bummed its over but I Have 3 more shows to go. Now I want to buy more tickets after that haha.

So from yesterday, they cut The Power Of Love and Shadow Of Love (Like i said yesterday, this song didn't get a good reaction)

Celine was better than yesterday, more beautiful and had more fun!! She didn't get the BIG ovation during My Love that she had yesterday..

 

Aaron get injured in TSMGO and been transported pretty fast by 2 bodyguards.. There were missing him in RDMH, one of the stand was empty!

 

I was sitting 2 row in the back of Marilou and OMG!! She applause like 4 sec and never stand up when there was ovation!! I was so shocked!! And she left before MHWGO..

In the same row as her there was one of her sister, that was so great to see her, she still have sparkle in her eyes, she seems SO proud of her sister!!

Rene was also there sit with the people, in the section, not on the floor and everybody run to him to take a picture like he was an animal in a circus...

 

I also film My Love, Dans un autre monde, Je Sais Pas and All By Myself, i'll put them online tomorrow because i have to sleep now!

She sang the prayer tonight...I found that overall the atmosphere was better than in Boston...especially before the show and when Celine appeared on stage. People were screaming loud. Everybody seemed proud to see her back in Mtl. She got several standing ovations. I'm a bit disappointed that they cut out Shadow of love and that she didnt sing On s,est aime a cause which a big hit in Quebec. But she cant please everyone i guess. It was a great show again. Hope I can go see her again on Feb 13th!!!

Do you say Celine didn't wear the black sparkly vest and black pants outfit during the Saturday show?

I mean the outfit she used to wear while performing "Alone", Queen Medley, TP, IAY and so on.

She didn't drop the silver vest outfit haha. I think she paid attention to the west side of the stage more..especially the runway on that side. Rene was sitting over there so that might be why. I was sitting on the Nord side, and I think she was paying attention to the south side more haha. She sang my love on my corner of the stage though!

Last nights show was great! I didn't notice that she cut TPOL and SOL and Fade Away. I guess it blew by so fast like a blur. We had 3rd row seats with the Hot sound package and they were crappy cause the rows are piled on so close together that you can hardly squeeze in (and I am small). Thank god I brought my 4 inch heels so that I could see when the people in front stood up. Celine looked great. Once again though I thought during English songs the audience was stoned , maybe with an exception of LCMM, IA, and RDMH? And I cant believe some people wore hockey jerseys to the front row! Hockey jerseys? C'mon. The soundcheck was geart before the show.
