we've been there too, and it really was worth the travelling! great crowd. instead of hysterically-screaming fans, people were mostly over 40 years old and there were standing ovations after almost every song (ok, they're not big fans of the english songs here...)! even if the show was the same as in europe, montréal made all the difference!

I just hope that for the DVD they'll include new clothes and more songs from "D'elles", specially the fantastic "On S'est Aimé à Cause".

Just woke up from the dissapoint of last night to an amazed state of mind : it seems that the concert was perfect!!! I LOVE your reviews, and thanks for them, for the photos and over all JP for the videos!!

Glad that Celine had the best night of all the tour!!!

But it's a bit sad that they said there were gonna be 30 songs and finally there were 'only' 25...

Hope that the other songs are performed during these next nights.

 

 

And I was the one who said that MAYBE MHWGO had been replaced to the middle of the show ...because some fans here said that on TVA you could listen Celine singing MHWGO and two hours later another Canadian fans said here too that Celine wasn't out of the Bell Centre already...

I felt that the show was pretty much the same as in Paris. The stadium was full but i felt like people here don't really care about or get enthusiastic when Celine sings Englsh songs. A lot of songs I was the only one standing in my section of the Floor west, especially the English songs like Shadow of Love, Eyes on me and Alone. There were no signs this time saying that there is a taping and there was no camera soaring in the air above the people. There was a camera on the floor filming the dancers and sometimes Celine and there was a camera or 2 in the 100 sections facing the catwalks. But other than that it did not feel like a DVD was being taped. Maybe they were just checking the sound yesterday and will film tonight??? Overall, for me Boston had more energy and I liked it way better. I have the hot sound package tonight so hopefully it will be great.

Last night really sounded like a blast from the reviews. Celine seemed to be so happy from the pics & videos Montreal really got off to a fantastic start (my opinion).

There are several dates in Montreal so hopefully they will film another date. Whoever announced they would film the DVD in Boston and Montreal was obviously correct so maybe they planned a later date. I still think she needs to play more French songs, as does everyone I'm sure. She has so many songs in French yet she keeps performing the same ones over and over.

Wow this concert sounded totally amazing. would LOVE to of been there!!! I cant believe Rene was crying when Celine sang "Pour que tu maime encore". How sweet. Wonder why he was crying, like he has seen her singing this song like a zillion times, maybe it was just emotional that she was singing it in Montreal, you think?

I don't understand the people who say the show isn't different enough. In French speaking areas/countries, she sings 8-9 French songs and everywhere else she sings 1 French song. This is the Taking Chances World Tour, so I don't know what else you could expect!

 

How many big artists out there change their World Tour like Celine does? It's difficult enough to tour around the world and rehearse one show, imagine rehearsing two different songlists back and forth depending on where she is!! Gee, some people will never be happy... Be grateful that the entire show isn't the same EVERYWHERE as all artists do... I think some people here don't realise how much work is behind a World Tour. And Celine is also rehearsing for the French only show in Quebec City!! Give the woman a break...

Someone mentioned that Luc Plamondon looked bored during the show.... But don't go by his facial expression to judge a show. He always looks bored even when he is excited!!!

 

I don't know why/how he does it, but it's a fact!
