In short, i loved the show, Celine was flawless as usual. I'm in awe watching her dvds and clips on the internet, seeing and hearing her live is phenomenally different. And whilst i loved the show, i would not pay the premium seating prices again purely because the seats i got were nowhere near close enough for what premium seating should be. For 122 euro you should not need to resort to the big screens to see what's goin on. I know you might see some of the pics and think i'm nit-picking, but if it wasn't for my camera's x10 optical zoom (x15 if i take the megapixels down a bit) i'd probably have considered not taking pics. I also want her to come back and perform in Belfast, Ireland if it has to be, in an indoor arena, and in the round if possible. The pitch seats only went this far, it seemed a waste all of that space at the back!! At a guess i'd say it was a lot closer to 82, 000 than to 64,000. There were a few empty blocks but these were at either side of the stage where there would have been little or no view. There were also one or two empty blocks at the back but once again this was because people's view would have been impaired by the light/sound tent or whatever it was, in the middle of the pitch. Croke park holds 82,000 people normally and i'd estimate that the extra seating on the pitch would have made up for a large number of the the empty seats in the stands. It was probably somewhere in the upper 70s. My friend spoke to one of the security guards and he told him there were 1200 of them on duty. It also seemed like half the gardai for Dublin were there so putting that in context it was a huge concert. Quote

I thought the crowd were a bit quiet in the middle but then when the Queen melody came on they woke up again. It was a pity there wasn't more done with the stage and if you were sitting at the back I don't know how you could see anything-even the screeens weren't big enough! Celine seemed to be enjoying herself. The atmosphere was much better when it got dark. Only thing I heard people talking about when we were leaving was the ending. They said it could have been better. I think people are getting a bit annoyed with MHWGO. If she had finished with RDMH it would have been perfect! Oh and with regards the number-the Irish Independent said there were 62,000 people and it was sold out. Plus she made the front of the Examiner! Quote
