Yeah,I know ....but...seriously now...Celine has tested the song,has repeated them ,or at least I guess so,between April 13th and May 2nd ..... so maybe now ANDHC's lyrics are in their mind! I'm sure she remembers now the lyrics....

 

 

Don't get me wrong,I know she has deserved holidays too...but the point is 'Why don't they put back on that setlist this beautiful song now'??

OMG, absolutely the best Celine concert experience I've ever had...her voice was flawless, the best it has been since 2003...A New Day was amazing but nothing can compare to the sound and atmosphere of an arena concert. She looked amazing as well, though I felt bad for her because it was SO HOT here today (almost 80 degrees) for the first time all year in London and she was visibly sweating the entire night with no AC.

 

The lower tier seats by the right catwalk are really the best in the house, she spent a ton of time over here. Got a few pictures and lots of video clips (short ones though of my favorite parts of songs or when she was in front of me). One thing I didn't catch though, did she hit the "money note" on IDAN?? That was the first time she came over in front of us, and everyone went crazy, and I was trying to get a photo so I may have completely missed it. When she was in the white dress/laced boots outfit, I also kept trying to get a photo of the BRACELET but I don't think I quite succeeded...that thing was blinding up close!!

 

Even some songs I wasn't crazy about on the album sounded amazing and flawless tonight...Eyes on Me, Alone, and My Love were particularly stunning live. She didn't really talk much, in fact the only thing I remember her saying specifically was when she talked about how she was happy to be back in the UK and in London in particular, that it is a special place for her and Rene, and that it is especially special tonight because her mom and RC were in the audience.

 

The audience was pretty good compared to the reports I've read from previous shows. The entire back stage side of the arena was on their feet the entire time...too bad she didn't spend too much time over there. The front side of the stage was pretty dead. It was really cool to see her go in the purple dress from the side entrance and then under the stage...then she came back out the same way to leave after MHWGO before the house lights went up. This time the first encore was RDMH and the last song was MHWGO.

I have to look at the Manchester set list again and think about it, but off the top of my head, there were no set list surprises.

 

She didn't sing Can't Fight the Feelin' but she did sing part of Fade Away.

 

I did notice for IYA, she clearly sang, "and when it seems as though your ARMS are drawing near" so maybe that's the way she sings it now, lol.

 

There is an x-ray and metal detector when you first enter, but not a big deal, they kind of squeezed people's bags to see if you had anything particularly bulky in there. They did say no flash photography and I didn't really notice any until MHWGO. I was nervous about camera policy too especially as there was a security guy right in front of the stage staring at us the whole time, but he didn't move or say anything to anyone. At least 2 guys in the rows in front of me were using camcorders the entire time...hopefully their videos surface.

 

I didn't see too many huge posters, but I did spy a couple in the corners, so some people must have managed to get them in. One couple tried to give her some flowers, but her security people took them under the stage...hopefully she got them. Hope that helps!

Here is my short review:

 

I am not sure if it was a couple cause I thought quite a few people tried to give her some flowers from one of the corners. The show was absolutely amazing. The environment and sound system, it was clear and loud, apart from It's all coming back to me now, I heard some echoes 'If I kiss you like this ss'

And if you whisper like that tt'

 

My Love was a perfect live version as it was an acapella version during the first few lines. It's quite touching and towards the end of the song, I wonder if celine really cried? The way I look on the big screen, she almost shattered some tears. Apart from there, she's stunning.

 

The speech was short as what described by cdfan, it was about 2 minutes Introduction speech (I recorded it). I was sitting at BLK 112 (I think that's the back part) from Entrance H, she doesn't seem to look to around that area. She was facing the front all the time ( I presume from Entrance A,B,C)

 

I can't describe much about the music cause I am sure everybody has different opinions on them and I would just have to summarise, overall her performance was great! I'll give her 4.5/5 almost reaching 0.5. I don't know about 'All By Myself' if it's really live version or is it bcuz the sound system was too good ; the real live version of ABM can be heard from Grammys or any Live performances Celine made last time around 1996 - 1997 and I found out that Celine seemed to lip sync ABM. For taking chances album:

 

1) Taking Chances - She really tried hard to control her voice - at the beginning 'On this planet they called Earth...' and during the first chorus 'What do you say?'

2) Eyes on Me - love the tune and sound mixture

3) Shadow of Love - she sounded really different - with all the background vocals

4) Fade Away - Awesome

5) Alone - Amazing voice

6) My Love - With acapella version and the piano, this made me more in love with the song.

 

I wish she could sing 'World To believe in'. Overall, the show was good! About the crowd, Upper tiers seem to be FULL on both sides. However, Not sure around the lower tier on both left and right hand side - they seemed to be empty up. I don't know why.

im sure celine was happy it was hot in london, she hates the cold weather and it isnt good for voice, sounds like a great show!

well, just got back and WOW. i was in block 115, however, first, dont eat, drink, pee or do anything till you get into the arena part, there are NO ques there, cos everyones fighting for a nandos or thai out the front...in the arena lobby you can ewat, drink and pee at the same time!! ill know that next time....

 

anyways blk 115, 2 seats in....centre!! we got good coverage, MORE THAN HAPPY, she couldnt be spinning the whole time, and we got the most of MHWGO, the whole concert was breathe taking, it passed and it was like a dream, and now im just remembering parts slowly....remember the rene speech, and the batton twirling, the ***t behind me bein all gobby bout her (then go home WTF)!!! we didnt really stand much bcos i didnt want to be the starter, and im sure everyone else thought the same as we were all blatently tapping our feet, wen celinre said "stand up" during mountains song it was like "finally"!!! i remember some guy shouting "i love you" during the my love speech,....just wow wow wow

 

the voice was flawless, the performance was amazing....just omg, i loved it,

 

even began to like the bald dancer girl towards the end.

Oh yeah and there is only ONE entrance into the inner dome...once you get past the metal detector/x-ray and see the programme stands, go straight ahead. I walked around the outer arena for at least 45 minutes and ended up having to circle back to the front.
