Even her album sales have decreased, she's still one of the biggest selling Sony artists It was widely reported that Celine was not happy with the lukewarm reception D'Elles received in France. This is the real world baby, and as much as she lives in a bubble, I am sure she is made aware of album sales. In the past when she used to say: "I don't care about those things, all I want to do is sing", she had nothing to worry about because she was selling like hotcakes. I am sure there is much more pressure now... I think Now more than ever is the time when celine proberly dont mind about album sales!!Shes sold over 200 million records shes a millionaire for god sake!! why does she need any more money Okay she proberly cares for credibilitybut so what if a bunch of emo or skater kids dont like herWe dont like there hard core and Nu Pop MusicShe is not to every ones tastes!! As for trying to reinvent her image and music stylei think people have already passed their judgement on celine from her earlier musicand no matter how much they change her style and image there are still people who aregoing to think "Yeah thats the Titanic Singer"Not Wow thats the new celine!! To us fans her image and Music is kind of new but to other peoplewho dont know the celine we do there just going to turn a blind eye at her Her biggest problem is promotionI have not once heard Taking Chances on British Radio!!! Nore have i seen her Video on the music channelsthere have been no adverts promoting the releaseI dont even think that most people know that Taking chances is acctually released onCD single!! The most ive seen of her is on the X factor which is not the most amazing show in the world!!and shes on the main page of Itunes! although she is currently as im typing this recording "An audience with....."which will proberly be aired after the release of the albumshe has also done an appearance on Happy Birthday BAFTA!!BUT SANG MHWGO!! and she is also goin to appear on saturday night Diva's!! But there is no interviews where she can say its coming out on the 12th of november!! Its sad because i would really love for this album to do really wellbut with ablums such as the spice girls, Leona Lewis and Shayne ward coming out at the same timethere's going to be a problem they have had much more promotion then her!!! She's having fun, and if people are missing out on great music, it's their lost. I don't understand why celine hasn't been promoted the way she deserves, but not everything is perfect i guess. If celine thought for one second or rene that they were not being managed well, than they would change. I don't get it but all we can do is support her, even though her record label may not do complete justice to her. Quote
