i'm not sure what it means...all i know is that the downloads chart is a very important one and on the force of that chart alone britney made it to no 2 on the billboard hot 100 - so i think we can excpect celine to finally make it to the top 100 . can someone who knows for sure how they combine the billboard chart help? She will make her debut this week on the Hot 100 for sure! Also if she increases alittle on Itunes and holds it for the rest of the week we can expect her to be in the 30s region on the Hot 100 next week!

OMG My expression went like this when I saw your post. I thought it was going to stall in the 30s, but 21 is pretty awesome!!! Let's have our fingers crossed it cracks the Top 40 on the Billboard Hot 100. Yesterday it was 30 in iTunes, I hope it climbs inside the Top 20 tomorrow!

well i'm not that optimistic cause i know even if she'll make it to the top 40 she'll go down very fast - it's all thanks to her recent performances . anyway - all her fans in the u.s should download as many times as they can afford TCH - we can really make a diffrence now

i really hope that TC would even do better after it enters top40 on single chart

one big problem now is that besides AC radio station,

only 9 top40 radio stations (includingZ100) are playing this song.

once it get a good position on chart maybe more radio station would follow.

There are more than 9 stations playing it mediabase only shows leaders - We only know the number of stations playing from the "jump" menu and it needs to make a big jump to be on that list.

 

We will find out today Mondays spins - so if the American Music Awards made a difference we will know today

The Christmas music is really kicking in now all the AC chart is down

 

A/C: 896 (still at number 12)

 

Hot Ac: 150 (57 on chart) 16 stations, 3 adds

 

POP: 200 (69 on chart)

 

 

Is it time to give up??? or will Hot AC and POP take it over for the Christmas season.

It sure looks like AC is slowing down (due to Christmas music) but Hot AC and POP keep spinning it more, and more stations keep adding Taking Chances. Interesting trend... A sleeper hit!!!

i can live with that position! so that's Italy and now France where she's enjoyed moderate success with the song so it's not been a total waste of time BUT she's gonna have to get a worldwide "hit" (doesn't have to be the song at the moment but just a hit) 'cos she'll be on tour and won't be on t.v. promoting it.
