Shaun Posted November 18, 2007 at 07:19 PM Posted November 18, 2007 at 07:19 PM (edited) I feel we can compare it quite accurately to GTSW to be honest. When GTSW was released downloads did not count towards the chart in the UK so for Celine to chart Sony had to physically release the single. Now downloads do count so TC did chart on downloads alone which is a good achievement, but I do agree with you that a physical single release would've boosted it up the charts. Interesting to note though that both songs received very minimal airplay across the UK, the last single to achieve that was I'm Alive. Interesting to note though that both songs received very minimal airplay across the UK, the last single to achieve that was I'm Alive. The radio play had always been the same, when MHWGO came out it was massive but it never went to No 1 on the airplay chart because radio stations dont play Celine here, celine acheives her chart positions just by bringing music. TC was not really played on radio here and was only on radio 2's play list for 3 weeks which is nothing. Its a shame but I fear it will never change. I do have one point to make I really feel that TC is different from GTSW because most celine fans are older and I beleive dont all have the means to download and therefor we would rely on a physical release Quote

isurrender Posted November 19, 2007 at 08:37 PM Posted November 19, 2007 at 08:37 PM Can we expect that TC enters the Hot100 tomorrow as downloads have been going up lately? Quote
thevoice Posted November 19, 2007 at 08:54 PM Posted November 19, 2007 at 08:54 PM yes , if i'm not mistaken we can expect her to enter the top 100 or maybe even the top 50 based on downloads...however it's all thanks to her countless performances on TV so after 1 week she'll probably go downnnn again Quote
