she is far far from that chart - we'll have to wait for the single to be released officialy in 2 weeks :msn-wink:

We have to be patient and keep requesting the song! :)

Well maybe just one spot but she's second for "AC most added" and also second for "AC most increased plays." It's not bad at all! The song is climbing slowly but steadily in terms of spins and audience.

Joey you are right I remember that so well. How ironic that ANDHC flew so quickly, and yet this song which is even more radio friendly is taking forever. Go figure! Things seemed so different in 2002. Maybe Celine needs to take another two years off to have a big radio hit? I have to admit when she came back in 2002 I was afraid that people wouldn't have responed to her, I'm sure glad that I was wrong! As far as this song goes I don't know, it's the radio friendly song we've all been waiting for, however the radio isn't being so friendly to this song. I guess we should all be fortunate that at close to 40 that she is still able to sing and release great albums and still give us all something to discuss here. It could be much worse.

IMO, ANDHC is more AC radio-friendly, but I hope "Taking Chances" goes all the way to the Top. This has to be the second time that I'm furious about Sony's handling of a Celine tune. The other was with "That's The Way It Is." A CD single would have pushed it to No. 1 on the Hot 100.

Luisma4.. I agree with you when you say that ANDHC was more radio-friendly but this is great too. Let's all give this song a chance and maybe it may climb to the top spot in a few weeks. All we can do is request for it as much as we can at the radio stations and then when the single is released, all of us should go get atleast one copy (if not multiple copies lke many of us will :giggle: )and support the sales of the single too. Guys in the US, Europe should download it from iTunes and make the digital sales of this single go a bit higher than a mere #100. This is just my opinion. I know many of you will have different views on this.

our only hope are the legal downloads - she might be able to enter the billboard hot 100 based on legal downloads and that might happen when she promotes the new album - she'll be everywhere and people will hear TC alot so...maybe...just maybe... :unsure:

Speed of light mon ami.. speed of light :P The AC chart in the USA is moving at a snail pace. Celine's success on that chart is like Marion Jones' fake wins at the Olympics :giggle:
