thevoice Posted October 16, 2007 at 03:17 PM Posted October 16, 2007 at 03:17 PM you guys are such... believers...how come -- how come you guys can be happy with this numbers... Jesus... i'm not one of those "people" u mentioned ...and everyone who has an idea regarding the u.s charts knows this song is for sure not a hit...for now it's going on very well on the AC stations but that's it . the numbers on pop and HAC stations r redicilously low and there is no way she'll have a top 40 hit based on those numbers....just like i said here few weeks ago - our only hope is legal downloads once celine will start singing TC live everywhere people might download the song actually and that combined with AC radio stations can give her a top 40 hit in the u.s - maybe just maybe Quote

hwan0401 Posted October 17, 2007 at 11:34 AM Posted October 17, 2007 at 11:34 AM I think she needs to have a promotion in US. Actually, Alicia already had promotions in VMA,Tonight Show Quote Celine Ready To Take 'Chances' On New Album
thevoice Posted October 17, 2007 at 11:37 AM Posted October 17, 2007 at 11:37 AM Well, Celine hasn't visited Germany yet. But the Promo in print media was quite good ! celine will promote her new single and album in the key markets in europ - there is no doubt that the u.k is the most important market , she'll also visit france which is always good and i won't be suprised if she records some special and interviews to other tv networks in other countries Quote
manilou Posted October 17, 2007 at 11:42 AM Posted October 17, 2007 at 11:42 AM Actually Germany/Austria/Switzerland/Luxemburg/parts of Belgium is the most important market, with more than 100 million people, speaking German and watching German TV programms. Which is why I think she should do more than just Wetten dass...? Nevertheless I'm happy for the UK-fans.... manilou Posted October 17, 2007 at 01:21 PM Posted October 17, 2007 at 01:21 PM That's true, but people often take GER/AST/CH as one market. The ECHO for example is for artists from all 3 countries (as best national artist)... If you want to speak about sales every market in Europe is important to her, not just this separate one. I agree she has to do more promo in Germany, but then again she has a hit there without even going there...so it'll be anyhow great. I do hope for more, tho! Quote http://i.imgur.com/dmreJ.jpg

karatedude317 Posted October 17, 2007 at 08:38 PM Posted October 17, 2007 at 08:38 PM Has anyone else been hearing TC being played more lately. In the past two days I've heard the song played on the radio six times, which is much more than I've heard it before. I think it's catching on, and I think we can expect her chart position to be better than it is now. Let's hope so!! Quote
