"Taking Chances" SINGLE on the charts

I'd like to know why the POP stations here in the USA aren’t playing the new Celine Dion track "Taking Chances". Her album drops in a little over a month and we've seen little to no promotion. The song is awesome and general feedback on the net and Perez Hilton is really supportive. What's the story with your promotion? Where's the music video? Celine is the number one selling artist in the world and Sony along with Columbia records isnt doing much to show there support.

 

Please send me your feedback as I know a ton of fans who will do whatever we can to get this single onto the POP charts.... START PROMOTING and show your love for Celine...

I'd really like to know how it's possible that not all the radio stations have the new single of Celine Dion?! I have been sending emails to different stations and was asking for Taking Chances. They said that they surely would play it but they don't have it! Why is Sony Music doing so less to support/ promote the world's best selling female artist? Every record company is doing their best to promote their stars - except you! I don't want to be mean, but I know that a lot of fans from all around the world are wondering why isn't Sony Music able to do the best they can - we're talking about CELINE DION! I really hope you wake up right now, there's no time to waste!

i think an official request is needed in the name of all the members here - we all want pop stations in the u.s to get this song right? if they see hundreds of people signing it we might make a diffrence but for that we need vic and bellamy and their approvement and for now i don't even know how they feel about it because they r not responding to this issue

Celine should have taken bigger chances by dropping Sony and going with another label. This isn't the first time Sony has done this nonsense, so i wonder why Celine stays with them?

Great news! I was watching VH1, and they had a commercial for Ghost Whisperer and "Taking Chances" was playing on it.

reading the story in another thread about a Top 40 pop station, so it seems that Sony/Columbia is indeed sending people to Top 40 station to promote TC, but they are promoting it as a song by a mysterious artist, without telling that it is the new Celine Dion single.

 

So could Sony be actually be playing some kinda strategy right now, and could that be the reason why we don't see the song having an impact date on Top 40 stations yet?

 

I actually quite like the idea that they are promoting the single to Top 40 station as mysterious artist, cuz if you tell them straight that it is Celine, I bet many of the music directors would not even bother pick up the promo CD at all. But if you trick them into listening to it once, then they will most likely be stunned by the new Celine.

that "mysterious artist" thingie has started last month already. But then again, there's no impact still! the POP stations aren't playing her single. And if my memory serves me right, that was only one station in NY and two weeks after they removed her from their playlist. So what now? SONY im gonna f*cking bomb your building!!!

Soft??? Apparently they haven't played the song entirely, they probably stop playing after the first chorus.

Just hate it when seeing some radio stations being so close minded, and wouldn't give it a chance when they see it is linked to Celine.
