I honestly don't understand his smarminess...

It's overly expressed. It quite distracting from his talent.

 

I know for sure I'm not an Il Divo fan. I really would hate to see "I Believe in You" on any future releases.

 

And yes, Sebastian should break out as a solo artist.

Taking Chances - I dont like the song at the 1st listen but now i m completely in love with this song, i dont know how Celine rendition will be like...but the original singer did a great job on singing this song....cant wait to hear celine version now....as i wrote in the youtube website, the original perfect in singing this song, little worry celine version will receive more negative review/feedback from press, fans.....

Alone - So much worry now, the original version is so well-known in music industry and carrie underwood rendition is good too..what will Celine version turn out to be...vocal wise, i had never worry ...as Celine strong and powerful voice go so well with this song...but worry the press and fans feedback,....

10. My Love - This song is simply beautiful and gorgeous....if this is the version celine recorded , then it shouldnt be any problem...as our beloved Celine can perform and handle this song easily....cant wait to hear Celine angel voice on this song

Right Next To The Right One-Wow...the orginal singer version is totally blow me away, some might complaint he doesnt know how to sing, but IMO his version is perfect, the song itself make the singer perfect i guess, i totally crazy about this song, Celine, please please your rendition must be as perfect as the orginal version....like some other members in this forum....i can totally imagine celine singing this song......love it so much...

I dont care much about celine has so much cover in this brand new album, as long as it never sing it from celine mouth before, i will consider this is her song and a brand new song from her.....come on folk...The Power of Love that put Celine in the eyes of the world also is a cover....so far she had never let us down be it new song or cover song....as long as celine sings it...then my life is complete.....Celine you need to continue singing for the rest of your life.....love you

OMG! it is fantastic...I must say a "thank you very very very much" to the one who started the topic and shared the words with us...you're so lucky...I've always wanted to meet Rene sometimes just as much as i would want to meet Celine and a moment to tell him I'm forever grateful to him...so...

 

He's a man of great honour and by the way celine talks about him in her book "my story, my dream" i can you don't have the change to know such very very often nowadays

I'm almost afraid to say that but if Shon thought Céline sounded merely "good" on "Alone" then they better leave that song off the album altogether especially considering the middle ad-lib is EXTREMELY dangerous for Céline as it's in my opinion very likely for her to sound very unpleasantly goaty. To me Céline never sounded goaty or stuff but if she indeed copied it 1:1 like Shon said and I hold him very high as far as his opinions on Céline's voice are concerned then I have to say I fear to hear this middle adlib already. And besides this song isn't all that at all in my opinion. There are much much better 80's tracks out there to cover for her. Without this certain vocal danger, yes, yes. Let me Be Your Soldier: Lyrics are cheesy if you ask me. Has a dark sound and army drums in the background the whole time. Rat-tat-tat kinda sound, hard to explain. Wasn't my favorite.

It seems to me that they removed all the RNB tracks completely and concentrated on the rocky, edgier aspect of Céline - R-Kelly, Ne-Yo, Umbrella and Soldier have been scrapped (supposedly, of course the track list is surely yet to be finalized).

 

We got 5 RNB songs that they scrap. Can't say I will miss them if they go with the ROCKY concept.
