A TV movie about Celine's career

Although I'm skeptical about this movie I'm still intrigued to see it. If only they made an authorised movie of "My Story, My Dream" that would be fabulous we can only hope!!! Does anybody know where this DVD can be ordered from in Australia?

Maybe its just me but I don't like the trailer I just watched on youtube. It looks like a big mess. No wonder Celine wouldn't authorize it.

i have actually seen it. from beginning to start.

the start i didn't like cause it was my heart will go on and she was going to ruin it. it goes back from the start and how she got to where she is. some bits are good and interesting you learn about the love affair of celine and rene'. not sure if its true about how that all happened but it was interesting. didn't have celine but you get the drift of what it took to get to where she is. its a long movie to. if u have any quesions about it. let me know

The movie is VAGUELY inspired by the life of celine. All the facts are remotely relevant. If you want to have a laugh with this spoof on the life of celine dion, it's definitely a must see (celine getting hit by a car, singing marnay's song in english, rené having a very dramatic heart attack, rené doing a sexy dance for celine, or celine declaring she's actually in love with her manager while singing MHWGO). however, if you want to have a bio, then you're better off reading for keeps. I've seen it!! I don't like it very much. Much incorrect information!!

 

I like the beginning of the movie, with the young Celine. But after that, there are so much mistakes!! I feel too much in 1986?? :S And René ask Celine to marry him in 1997? While they receive the 'My heart will go on' offer.

 

The ending is dashed off. After my heart will go came 'Vegas' and Rene Charles and that was it. And I didn't know René have had an heart attack?

 

And the actrice doesn't look like Celine, she looks like more to Gloria Estefan LOL

 

I wanted to make screenshots, but the DVD is not working in my computer :S Very weird.

If I was Celine and I saw the older actress playing me, I would be so insulted. Whats with the nose??

 

The mistakes, the cast and the singing are going to make this such a dissapointment. Boo!

According to a dutch fan who saw it (and was greatly dissapointed DUH another huge mistake: they were married in 97 after Céline recorded MWHGO in vegas with the gold dress ) all the 'stage' shoots were recorded on the same stage!!
