Only 24 days more to go for the album

Officaily, in Poland 19 days, but certainly I will get it sooner, maybe 8th of November :wub:

First of all I buy TAKING CHANCES (CD Edit), than, maybe 3 weeks later I buy Extended Version with DVD... box.

Which version do YOU buy? :flowers:

A change in Celine Dions songs? More rock? No and yes.
Yes, but only for the non-hardcore-Celine-Dion-Fans. Celine Dions singles were evreytimes (very/too) sweet and nice; but only we fans are knowing her more sugerless songs on her albums behind her "hit"-singles:
- 'Your light' behind the single "because you loved me" (falling into you)
- 'ain't gonna look..." behind the single "Y&M" (A new day...live in LV)
- 'us' behind the singles "Tell him" or "My heart will go on" (let's talk about love)
- 'tous les blues sont...' behind the single "zora sourit" (S'il suffisait...)
- 'ten days' behind 'A new day' (A new day...)
- etc. etc.
For all people who are knowing Celine only from the radio or from the cinema and not from her full albums, her new Single "Taking chances" will be a real Transformation.

And when we will have all the full songs of the new album? In 18 days in Europe we will have her album... Till the 9.11.07 every day a new song like TC did with D'ELLES....??? Any new information????

In the spanish forum we have a journalist, last week he was in a presentacion of the album, sonymb are thinking in "Alone", "Eyes On Me", "I Got Nothing Left" and "Surprise Surprise" as second single maybe diferent for Europe and America, one of the favourites was I got nothing left he said that is an incredible song with up and down in the voice of Céline, Céline will shoot the music video for the 2nd single when she will come back from the Euro promo, then about mid- december the single will be out to promote the album for Christmas, the 3rd will be out about spring with the tour starting in Europe.

About the song taking chances in radios and in the internet is not doing well, they are waiting to decide after the promo and when the disco was out how they work the song again...

If I have to choose between that4 songs I prefer "Surprise surprise" and "eyes on me" for after christmas :bye1:

Now, like I have already said: Alone mustn't be a single!!!! :nono: That's a big NO NO.

Come on now sony, wouldn't it be the righ time to start to think?! :doh:

Since they didn't mention This Time, and Eyes On Me is a spring/summer single and Surprise Surprise aint single material at all and Alone is the big No No, that only leaves out from their limited which list I Got Nothing Left.

So let's all hope for I Got Nothing Left for the second single. :thumbsup2:

And next single mid-dec (by sony's apprehension for time this will mean early january) and the third out in spring. Am I the only one who things the time between Céline's singles is generaly way too long and that's one of the reasons the promo fails??

Yes, leave it to Sony to go with the cover or the worst song of the album.... I really hope they go for Surprise, Surprise as second single then... Eyes on Me is nice, but a little boring! I don't know about I Got Nothing Left, I really need to hear it full first, but somehow, it doesn't strike me as a single... NOT ALONE PLEASE! I kindda like the idea of releasing different singles for Europe and the U.S., because that would mean she has to make 2 videos, instead of one. The more videos, the better :clap:

They know something about music market nowadays? Everybody was talking because first single was a cover and that Celine was the Queen of covers and all this staff..They want to destroy her career or what? Every single song of the album could be better single than Alone, I got nothing left will be great like single (with Ne-Yo on the video), This Time, Surprise Surprise or even Eyes on me (not my favorite) I hope they’ll take the right decision, because second single will be very important..NOT ALONE!!! WHO!? Who was talking exactly? Everyone loved Céline's version and the vast majority didn't know it's a cover. Don't be delusional in favor of your Alone hate! Perhaps she wants Alone to be single? And if you want it or not she is the queen of covers just like Whitney - both of them have about half of their single material as covers.

Another good thing is certainly the box set with the demo recordings they are planning. I bet that's something they are planning for a possible hiatus after her tour.

Seriously. Noone I asked here knew the song Alone, and most liked it...

Personally I would prefer I got nothin' left. I think it fits the time of year better...

I don't really thing that they will make of "Alone" the second single.

The want to go in a different direction for this album, and they know perfectly that "Alone" is not the right song to do so.

Maybe she'll sing it to promote the album, but this doesn't mean it will be the second single, they have other plans, a lot of new meterial, songs that are really new...so I'm sure they'll decide for another song, maybe Eyes on Me, or Surprise Surprise.

I think they're aware of the fact that choising Alone would mean the album "distruction".

All their work will fail because nobody will buy the album anymore because people would think it's just the same old album by Celine Dion. :flowers:

I really don't get this whole cover song debate. Sure I haven't heard those songs yet, except from the recording session, so maybe there are better choices than Alone as single material, but in the end all of her songs come from other people, so if someone has sung them before or not, that's just a minor detail. And the observation I made is that for example It's All Coming Back To Me Now, another cover song, is the one that gets the most praises, even people who don't like Celine (or who dont like to admit that they secretly like her) they love that song.
