The best singer in the history of the world (or Tyler Kennedy’s world, at least) is rearing up for the release of her new album, Taking Chances, on November 13.

 

Taking Chances is Celine Dion’s first English-language studio release since One Heart in 2003. Her latest single of the same title is amazing (and available for immediate download from iTunes) Inside sources report that the album has received amazing reviews from those who’ve heard it. We’re very excited.

 

Celine’s latest French-language effort D’Elles received amazing reviews and hit #1 in Canada, France and Belgium. Her debut single from the album S’il n’en restait qu’une (If There Were One Woman Left) received tremendous airplay in the French-speaking world.

 

The Queen of the World wraps up the 600th and final performance of her show, A New Day, in Las Vegas on December 15.

 

It was rumored that Britney Spears’ newest album Blackout (originally scheduled for release on November 13 as well) was being pushed up for release to October 30th so it wouldn’t have to compete with Celine’s Taking Chances. The official excuse was that there had been too much illegal downloading of Britney’s songs and they wanted to minimize damage.

 

“Minimize damage” my butt. Celine Dion has sold over 200,000,000 albums worldwide. We’d be scared to compete, too.

It's refreshing to see that Chuck isn't the only person in the media world willing to state his love for Celine or his excitement at the forthcoming album.

 

Also I am LOVING, true or not, the news that Britney moved her album due to the fear of being outsold by Celine. You couldn't buy that type of publicity! Priceless!!!

Anyone else think that they should have put Ain't Gonna Look The Other Way on this album instead of LIVE A New Day? It would fit right in and it could be a possible single choice, what a waste......

 

Yepp it would fit, it should replace A World To Believe In, since it stands out too far from the rest in its sappy old fashioned manner.

Shadow of Love sounds great. I just heard the clip. So far I like 3 songs on the album. Taking Chances, Alone and Shadow of Love. BTW, is there a longer version of Alone aside from the 2:55 version thats out there?

I am so confused I love them all and in 24 hours I have changed my favourites. They are now:

 

Eyes on Me (This will be a big hit - europe loves shakira style music and thats what this is)

Surprise Surprise

My Very Favourite - cant fight the feeling - F***ing Amazing

Fade Away

 

I also think that most of the songs are about to kick in further when it cuts out. I am so excited
