-Can't fight the feeling sounds as if it belonged on FALLING INTO YOU, which is a good thing!!!!!

-I just can't get over World To Believe In, it's the song most likely to make cry..

-Shadow of Love is very radio friendly but I'd have to listen to the whole thing before agreeing with the one who thiks it should be a single... deserves dance remixes though!!

-Fade Away, kinda Bon Jovi like, right? but in a good way!

-The arrangement on Surprise Surprise just took it to another level from what I heard on the recording session! It was good and now it's Amazing!

I can't believe somebody would complain about full songs put on the bonus DVD. Who forces you to watch? Let them be if you want a surprise in december.

Especially that the DVD version will be evidently lacking the making-of... so if you don't care for Vegas you are better off with the great 1 CD version and great new 16 songs.

i'm not saying like it's not good, and of course i love AND show just think like there won't be a little surprise when watching the show dvd... maybe 1 or 2 songs is ok but don't u think it's a bit too many??

I posted a link to Celine's Japaneses site a while ago [here], the title was The Reason I Got On already back then.

And on the official site, I don't hear Taking Chances. I got Seduces Me, and then River Deep Mountain High and after refreshing hundred times now it's playing Immensité, but still no Taking Chances

It makes sense, when you think about it. If they intended to put the recording sessions on the DVD they wouldn't have made it available online 2 months before the release of the album.

But it is so incredibly stupid. We'll have the same material twice... which is a habbit with Sony releases actually... But I hoped they get it right this time. We want to see the sessions more than we want to see a few songs from AND which we'll get the next month anyway...

So true!, but what recording session video? The one we have seen of 45 minute that shows only 6 songs or a full version (there must be one for sure) with the whole 16-18 songs? And that must take 2 hours or more

Well, certainly if you check http://www.celinedion.com/celinedion/english/ you won't have Taking Chances. You have to check the Homepage of www.celinedion.com, as mentioned above.

Hello, I am one of those people who don't want to hear the 30-sec-clips - I prefer waiting for the whole album.

 

But is there somewhere in the forum a source of factual informations about all the new songs??? It is very interessting to read which song you like and which not - but I d'like to read somewhere something factual about every song (I found "only" the names of composers etc.) too: Style? Loud? Silent? Uptempo? etc. etc.

 

Where I can find these kind of informations? Thanks for an answer and have a nice Sunday!

They're mostly pop songs with some guitars thrown in. Some songs sound like "Naked" or "Stand By Your Side". It is NOT a rock album by any means but it's certainly soft rock and Céline's most guitar driven album in English to date.

I totally agree. I will be so disappointed if there's nothing about the actual "Taking Chances" album. If that's the case, it's just another way for Sony to make extra bucks from whom they believe to be "uninformed and unaware" consumers.

 

I'm serious, if there's nothing on there about Taking Chances, then it's no longer debatable how much Sony sucks!!

 

Psh... you'd think a record company this big would know what they're doing... the stupid just seems to be spreading.
