Thanks for the links. But I just noticed that it only has one disc. Does the Japanese version not come with a DVD? :unsure:

Yes. Japanese has CD version only. No CD+DVD version.

 

On HMV it's around $21 US plus whatever the shipping - so that's not bad at all for an import that

will have 2 extra songs on it!! :clap:

 

They still don't have the track listing out from Sony or CD.com! :cry:

 

All this DVD info is making me nuts. I just want Sony to be clear as to what is on each version

with the full listings so I can decide what to buy. If the "special" edition is only special because it

includes the perfume then it's not worth it for me to spend the extra $$$s.

I can't wait for this album!!

It' shard to judge but my favorites so far are (in no particular order):

 

-Taking Chances

-Alone

-Shadow of Love

-Surprise Surprise

-New Dawn

-Fade Away

-That's Just The Woman in Me

 

But the one I'm most curious about is SKIES OF L.A. It seems to be a real gem! Can't wait to listen to the whole version!

 

Am I alone to think that?? ;)

Those songs from AND will only be trailers is my guess b/c why would they put full songs on there and still sell the DVD...Does NOT make any sense?

i think that for christmas they should sell a special package of the new album+the A NEW DAY...dvd - selling it around the same price as the album will boost the sales of the album and the DVD and for the long term it will also be commercialy smart :flowers:

It's bad if there's no recording session videos and MV of TC album, but AND trailers only. I won't mind the AND trailers as bonus, but if there's no recording session videos and MV of TC album, SONY & Celine's market team need some serious mental check.

I will scream if they don't include the behind the scene footage of the album, since I haven't watched it yet. Shouldn't this information be out soon? If it's just AND trailers, who cares? We'll get the DVD in Decembre.

it seems like they changed their strategy and i think for a change they r doing something right here . celine will be everywhere in the next few weeks - they need to think about long term promotion and this special in february will boost the album sales...

No, it was announced that she will do a tv special for CBS TV (US) in February and it will feature songs

from Taking Chances!! :wub: :whistling:

This makes no sense. They should include the DVD with A new day footage in the normal version. The version normal people will buy. We the fans are the only ones who will buy the CD+DVD package and we will also buy the DVD without promotion. This makes no sense....

Well, at least they include full song performances on the DVD. I thought IDAN which was shown on Jerry Lewis show was really good, maybe a bit too polished, but great stage action. I don't care about the 7 min trailer, they could have put another performance (River Deep ...) instead.

No I think that site has there info wrong. There will be a separate DVD for AND. They have already posted the release date of the AND DVD as December 11th as a HD-DVD which obviously is not the same day TC comes out. There's a reason they had people take off the recording sessions on youtube. That footage is only for the TC DVD. There would be no reason to have them take it off if they were not planning to sell it. As far as the TV special goes, I'm pretty sure I heard awhile ago that they were going to have one just like they had before her 2 year break and the opening night of AND. Also all of her past TV specials in the US have been on CBS so I see no reason why it would be on a different station. I think it might be a contract thing.
