When it starts, it's so powerful. The beat is so heavy, so great. But when she starts to sing (with a lot of echo, that makes her voice very "distant") the beat is a little POP. I love remix, but don´t know if I like this one.

 

By the way, is Celine singin at the begining? It doesn't sound as her and I just couldn't figure out de words...

She's like Oprah in China. She could also be host of the Olympics Opening Ceremony, of course just possible. But the channel would show this interview is not the popular channel. It's a channel from Shanghai, but on Satellite, so most Chinese can still watch it, if they have cable TV or satellite. But CCTV is the most popular national channel which have over 100million audience, but not this channel.

 

BTW, she mentioned Larry King as one of her idols in a recent show. She said she'd like to try to do as many interview shows as Larry King. And she's just warming up now like Larry King said.

Blah, that remix is awful. It's 2 freakin minutes of just music and then same thing at the end. It drags on like crazy. I think that's Kara Dioguardi at the very beginning singing. Glad they put out the effort and I'll give them credit for that, but honestly I don't like remixes anyway.

Everyday I received a newsletter from HMV.co.uk Celine is now being advertised on this as one of the best new pop releases, along with Britney and Mariah ect....This is good because it means that going into the pop section it is one of the first artists you see

Britney Spears’s new album, Blackout, is being released early. Her label, Jive Records, has announced that they are pushing up the release date to October 30th.

The official reason being given for the change is “internet leaks.” A label rep tells People:

 

“Due to these numerous unauthorized online leaks, the label is doing everything possible to prevent and avoid any further illegal distribution of songs including moving up the release date of the album to Oct. 30.”

 

Wethinks the real reason that the album is being moved is that the record was originally slated to come out on November 13th, the same day as Celine Dion’s hotly anticipated new record, which is expected to do quite well.

 

Both albums are being released on labels owned by Sony BMG and they probably didn’t want Britney to look bad when Celine outsold her.

 

We’ve heard almost all the songs on Brit Brit’s new album.

That's why it's called "extended remix" those are theverisons sent to Djs so they'll be able to mix the beats from one tune to another and create s smooth session...if you don't want that you should look for a "radio edit"

 

anyway the remix it's AWFUL......just the way I didn't want it to go the pitch on the voice it's terrible....I love remixes but the one thing i can't stand it's that they change the voice of the artist with any vocoder (a small part ...ok,as the beginning, but not on the whole song!!!!) .....this "rockish" song should have been sent to Jamie Lewis, Dave Aude, Jason Nevis, Pet shop Boys, Mylo, Gabriel & Dresden, Thin White Duke, The Linderbergh Palace, King Unique and a lot others that could have given a great spin to the song without compromising it's essence ....once again pretty disappointed with the remixers Celine chooses :nono: :nono:

Well, Celine will surely make number one now. I think it's nice that Spears changed the release date. Both artists, IMHO, deserve the best. I am also glad that I can take time to learn Britney's album, and then I'll have Celine's to learn! I was worried I'd have to learn two and balance the time!

I don’t think the reason was cos she’s scared of Celine- but we’ll wait and see who’s album sells more. Of course it’ll be Celine’s. Cos her fans aren’t f****** retards that illegally download everything- she may have older fans but many many young fans too and that equates to millions more fans that will actually buy the album. Celine Dion is the World’s biggest selling female artist in recording history. One Heart sold 6 million with absolutely no promotion other than the fact that she was doing Vegas which coincidentally has been sold out and seen by over 3million fans since it opened in March 2003. So it’s hardly fair to say that no-one cares about Celine Dion anymor. By the looks of it, many millions of people do. So let’s see who sells more dick fu***.

Britney Spears saw Celine’s Vegas show and wrote on the wall of her dressing room- “Celine, you are my inspiration and your talent astounds me”. Celine is a legend with true talent. No voice decoders or pork pies or cocaine for her. I don’t care that she’s not cool. I only care that she still is the best singer in the World and no-one can compare her to a completely, and unfortunately derailed little girl.
