I've posted a long time ago that the R. Kelly song (Remember The Day) was confirmed. But knowing Sony, nothing is for sure until an official statement is released with a tracklist.

Also, I heard that the Ne-Yo song will be recorded this weekend (Sunday). I wonder if they'll give a tracklist tomorrow for the press conference.

Of course all of these artists could be working with Celine but a lot of it could be left on the cutting room floor and not make the album.

Celine has worked with them. That doesnt mean that those songs will be included in album, though. I am praying to be included but it seems that sony has another aspect...

It's ok, Celine is over 18 so she's safe and Rene-Charles is a boy - so no problem there! :mdr:

Just a lil bit of off topic, Mariah's album is moved to a December release. Be very afraid of Miss Dion.

Double bill: With Celine Dion's Taking Chances (Nov. 13) and a still-untitled Mariah Carey CD (December),the most enduring divas of their generation return. Both have survived changing tides on pop, adult contemporary and, in Carey's case, urban formats.

Double features: Early word is that Chances may seek to position Dion in a slightly edgier direction. Carey is apparently taking a more characteristic approach, working with Bryan-Michael Cox and the omnipresent Will.i.am.

Double talk: Carey's multiplatinum 2005 release, The Emancipation of Mimi, re-established her at the top of the pop heap; her task now is to maintain that momentum. Dion's nearly five-year Vegas gig has been a cash cow, but at the cost of confirming her rep as a high priestess of schmaltz. Taking Chances could be her bid for a grittier image.

I think she will beat Britney easily.....I don'T think that Britney's album will be a huge success...over the past years she has lost lots of her fans...the best example is ME! Years ago I loved Britney as a singer but since she has all the scandals I better decided to absent myself from her music..Now I can say that I really hate her! But Celine hasn't changed in any kind of way...she is still the same...and her fan-community get bigger and bigger

Amazon doesn't have Celine listed on the main page nor the main music page anymore so I think that is why the presales have fallen over the last few days. People going to Amazon don't see the album and video like they did earlier this weeks so they aren't aware of the CD.

Do you think Celine will start singing "Taking Chances" in AND during these last few shows. I'm sure they probably will not use the dancers if they do because that would be too much work with only a few shows left, but it would be a good promotion for her new CD to mention the CD and then sing the song to maybe close the show for the last few shows that are left.
Posted
I've been thinking about that... and I think she won't sing it... I can't see it fit somewhere in the show! And besides I consider TC as a after-AND thing! :innocent:

Hello Erveryone,

Is there a set tracklist for the album Taking Chances or are they still deciding on songs?

Thanks to those who respond!
