She's a bit edgier, rockier and more guitar oriented. At least I hope so... lol It just sound so good. But TC is a different song but doesn't different too much from Celine's style. Her way of singing this song, however, is definitely different. And TCTWIN sounds as a different song we got accustomed to in her French career but not in English. She hasn't got so bluesy songs in English. But I guess time will tell will she is different or not. We'll know for sure on Nov 12th... Quote

The girl put me on hold because she wasn't there in the morning, so she asked someone. She said it was all positive reaction except that they weren't sure it was really her, which was why it said MYSTERY ARTIST...they said she sounds a little different. So I talked to the girl for a little while and directed her to AMAZON.COM where the video is, and showed her that it really was Celine singing. So there was POSITIVE REACTION on Z100..that's FANTASTIC!!! I think we have a surefire it here guys!!!That's weird. Celine has one of the most distinctive voices in the world. Also her French-Canadian accent is more obvious now than her vocally perfect FIY period. Even they can't recognize her voice, they can't miss the accent. So the fact that Z100 played the song means they are testing it. That would also explain why they use the "mystery artist" name. They want to get raw feedback from the general audience, the non-Celine fans. It's all a marketing strategy IMO. From the reaction they get, they'll decide if it is a good move to service the song to top 40/mainstream radios. Celine hasn't been played on top 40 radios since ANDHC came out in early 2002. That was one years ago with Donny Osmonds "Soldier Of Love". They thought if they said Donny Osmond that people wouldn't give the song a chance based upon a pre-conceived notion of his public persona. Now I think it's great they tried that with Celine and it seems to have worked. Did they eventually say it was Celine?? It would be awesome of Z100 and big stations like it added it to thier playlists. Let's face it, here in the US, if a song is played a lot people will listen and get used to it whether they like the artist or not. I listen to the morning Zoo on Z100 often and they're so funny but ya know, they didn't say nice things about Brittney's VMA appearance & with good reason.
