When she will back to Vegas, i will think the same. Sorry but it isnt normal to stay 4 years in one location and dont care about fans all over the world. She could owned WHOLE WORLD like Madonna, but open your eyes the vegas show destroyedher career. Why madonna have a two children and she is touring aroud the world, and Celine not? The Vegas option was presented to her and she loved the thought of it so went ahead and did it. Obvioulsy her position in the world charts and media was affected because of the Vegas gig but surely everyone connected with her expected that. Moreover on future world tours etc Las Vegas will ALWAYS be included and Celine will probably always return to The Coloseum, not with A New Day... but with her tours. I also think there's a strong chance we'll see Celine back in Las Vegas, permanently, towards the end of her career. That way they'll always be remembered, they'll not fade away... I actually think I heard something like that from Rene, when she took the break in 2000. They did it at the perfect time, when Celine's album was number one. But let's not think about the end of her career yet, she's very far from that still. Like she said, "the best is yet to come"! Although Mezzanine tickets for this benefit concert are quite affordable (less than $100 USD), UNFORTUNATELY, plane tickets from America to South Africa are not! I looked up an estimate, and roundtrip from San Francisco to Johannesburg is $3000 USD. Quote

Celine won't be the only one singing there for the 3 hour one because it's Unite of the Stars where there will be quite a bit of other singers both international and local, but Celine is the main performer there because they have yet to announce who the other performers will be. Yes I'm so excited I bought the ticket already last week on the net and collected my ticket at Mr Price. I wanted to sit in the first mezzanine but you can only make singular bookings there and not next to each other at least I'm going that's all that counts. If I find out that there will be a concert with just Celine in it here I'll let you guys know.
