krazy_kool_dude Posted April 7, 2007 at 10:47 PM Posted April 7, 2007 at 10:47 PM why would Celine prefer performing in smaller venues but stay in the city longer? It would mean she would have to do more nights which will hav an effect on her voice. Quote http://img345.imageshack.us/img345/4136/siggyju5.jpg
Tal Posted April 7, 2007 at 10:49 PM Posted April 7, 2007 at 10:49 PM That way she won't have to travel as much and she'll have more of an opportunity to explore the city she's in. Quote I live my life like a runawayI hide my dreams in a special placeI'm waiting here for my prince to comeTo save me from the darkness...
CSCfan Posted April 7, 2007 at 10:54 PM Author Posted April 7, 2007 at 10:54 PM Plus travelling also affects the voice and this way she's able to have a more *proper* rest.. (then to hop from city/country to city/country each day) Especially is she's taking RC with her (which she will).. smw Posted April 7, 2007 at 11:51 PM Posted April 7, 2007 at 11:51 PM I believe that Celine wants to stay in the cities longer, becuase of exactly what she's already said...she wants to actually SEE the cities. But I believe that she wants to perform in smaller venues for a couple of reasons--one being that she wants to experience that intimacy. She's always performed in these giant spaces--but it will be a whole new world for her to tone it down. Also, Celine has probably come to realize that she cannot sell out arena after arena anymore. Yeah, if they called this her farewell tour, it would sell out, but she knows she's not as "big" anymore, and she could probably care less. Anyway--so maybe she'll do two shows instead of one--but I don't think it's only because she wants to be in an intimate space. I think it's also because she can't sell out those arenas. Quote

Well Celine hasn't toured the world since 98-99, so I think there will be a big demand for her shows. Tix for smaller venues will sell out quick and I think she could still sell very well in arenas depending upon the areas. I'm just curious to see what kinda show she'll do, not much can stack up to A New Day - it's def one of a kind. Quote ~J O E Y~
CSCfan Posted April 8, 2007 at 10:33 AM Author Posted April 8, 2007 at 10:33 AM Indeed, the selling-out factor is definately not an issue here.... she will definately be able to sell out arenas (again).. stevo Posted April 8, 2007 at 12:59 PM Posted April 8, 2007 at 12:59 PM I WOULD DIE IF SHE CAME TO BELFAST- I'd be queueing for 1 week at the Odyssey to make sure I got at the stage. The Waterfront might be nice too tho...I don't think she'll come to Dungannon somehow...although I've always dreamed of her performing outside in Dungannon Park on a big purpose built stage- it could fit thousands of people. Oh to dream. PLEASE COME TO LITTLE ULSTER CELINE !! Quote
Shamrock_1982 Posted April 8, 2007 at 02:33 PM Posted April 8, 2007 at 02:33 PM I think she'll do the odyssey in Belfast but im hoping she does the new millenium forum in Derry!!!I just be happy as long as she does somewhere in N.ireland, but I'm going to see her here in London too lol.In 99 I got the ''1st'' ticket for her concert that was to happen in belfast, i was sooo gutted when she cancelled, but she had a perfect reason so!!! So yeah, please come to N.Ireland Celine!!!!!!!!!! I WOULD DIE IF SHE CAME TO BELFAST- I'd be queueing for 1 week at the Odyssey to make sure I got at the stage. Elaine Posted April 8, 2007 at 02:45 PM Posted April 8, 2007 at 02:45 PM Oh my! I'm as excited with this tour as I am with my Vegas trip! About selling Arenas, I'm sure she's able to do it in some places, but in some others it's not gonna be possible. So I guess they'll analize the countries, the fans in that country and then decide how big her show is gonna be... Quote http://img807.imageshack.us/img807/1352/opo3.jpg
amelie Posted April 8, 2007 at 03:23 PM Posted April 8, 2007 at 03:23 PM (edited) Should Celine come to Athens she should sing at the Herodion ...unless her new english album becomes double platinum, then she could go for a stadium Here's photos of the Herodion, capacity 4500 pplImagine her singing "I surrender" or "S'il n'en restait qu'une" in there! DianaLuts Posted April 8, 2007 at 03:33 PM Posted April 8, 2007 at 03:33 PM I think Celine and her team might go with the same cities as LTAL tour. Those are proved to sell out and all the people who didn't get a chance to see her in Vegas will come for sure. But i think the tour will be mostly limited to US & Canada, Europe and Asia. I am not sure she will go to South America, Africa or Australia. Quote

Bellamy Posted April 8, 2007 at 04:14 PM Posted April 8, 2007 at 04:14 PM But I think start selling the tickets one year ahead is too early. I'm very surprised. Quote Please support the forum by ordering everything through our special Amazon.com link Click here. Thank you!

julien Posted April 8, 2007 at 04:24 PM Posted April 8, 2007 at 04:24 PM Ho mazette ! I'm excited If I'm not wrong, Bercy aproximatly 17000 and Nice it depends on the configuration but it can be from 15000 to 50000. Quote
thevoice Posted April 8, 2007 at 04:24 PM Posted April 8, 2007 at 04:24 PM i remmember rene wanted to break a certain record , he talked about it a year ago or so - doing 5 shows in front of more people than ever...maybe that's what they r trying to do in bercy...we need to find out what is the capacity of that place - maybe they'll try to break one more record Quote
julien Posted April 8, 2007 at 04:30 PM Posted April 8, 2007 at 04:30 PM Well this little article is just to give an idea...We don't know if she will do all the days between the 20 and the 27, or one day off, one day on. And, the way the info is given let a big chance to see more dates in others cities such as Lyon... I think that this is the perfect timing with the lauch of 2 new albums. Quote

Mylene Farmer made 13 and recently Michel Polnareff 10 plus all the important cities in France. Otherwise I think that she is actually the only woman who did 2 Stade de France. It will depend if she will do all the others big cities in France and if the capacity of Nice will be 20000 or 50000. But really that's not what is important here. Celine has enough records... Quote

amelie Posted April 8, 2007 at 04:36 PM Posted April 8, 2007 at 04:36 PM Well if they have faith in the 2 albums, they could be still on the charts and the tour would reignite their sales, i think its a good timing. Quote

Tal Posted April 8, 2007 at 04:39 PM Posted April 8, 2007 at 04:39 PM Its not the sales thing thats bothering me. I wanted to see her in Paris but I'm going to see her this summer and then I had to buy tickets for the last show nearly a year in advance. I'm not going to see her in Paris anymore, but I hope the other dates dont go on sale so early. My bank account needs time to recover. DianaLuts Posted April 8, 2007 at 04:39 PM Posted April 8, 2007 at 04:39 PM where can i buy tickets for those shows? i am sure it is not gonna be ticketmaster. Guys, what do you use there in France? Quote
julien Posted April 8, 2007 at 04:42 PM Posted April 8, 2007 at 04:42 PM Who cares if it's early or not ? I don't get your point. You can wait for buying the tickets if it's such a big deal. With the lauch of the 2 new album it will create a big buzz for the tour. Moreover, according to the results of the sells, I'm sure that she will includes other cities in France. Quote
thevoice Posted April 8, 2007 at 04:43 PM Posted April 8, 2007 at 04:43 PM for us it might not be about breaking records but for rene it is as he himself said before...i must say that for now we heard about all the expected places that celine toured before , i wish she'll visit some countries for the very first time like israel for example Quote
