She will be 8 night at Bercy! That's quite a performance!

 

I will want to secure tickets for the first night as soon as the selling date approaches.

 

 

Normally you will be able to buy the tickets online from fnac.com for example, or carrefour.com...

 

If the places are numeroted there won't be any problem to wait a little bit for buying the tickets. Everyone should be able to see her. And there will be other dates soon. And yes she is very huge in France, but that's strange to see how everybody think that she is more huge in the other countries...For example I think that she is more popular in the US. Whatever, Celine Dion is not U2 or Madonna, I don't speak in term of commercial succes, because she remains on top, but in term of public...And for example in France her last single were JNVOP and TLS so, I haven't any doubt that she will sell all the sits, but everyone should be able to obtain its place.

As much as I hope this is true for all you Frenchie fans out there I'm not going to get too excited until something more official comes out.

 

The more I looked at the picture once my excitement slowed down the more I started noticing things about the picture that made me question it. I'm not saying that the original poster made this up, that couldn't be far from what I am stating, but there are things about this flyer that don't look quite right.

 

Notice how the black ink for the tour dates is a lot more crisp and fresh than the other black ink? It's almost as if someone picked up the flyer and then with their own computer and printer printed the dates on it afterwards.

 

Now, I hope I am totally wrong and that I'm just reading too much into this, but until something more concrete comes out I'm not going to get too excited again.

LOL, I'm not saying that it was Chérie FM that could have done the altering. Someone could have easily picked up the flyer on the street, at the radio station, on a telephone pole, etc., and decided to have some fun with it. That's what I was trying to drive at.

It seems odd that they'd put tickets on sale for these shows a year in advance but even if they wait longer to release tickets it's good to know she will be touring. Is she playing Stade de France like she did before?

It sounds like she will be spending most of 2008 touring in Europe which is good since they've been waiting so long to see her there. I think she may do North American dates in 2009. It will be interesting to see the whole tour schedule when it comes out. I'm just wondering how extensive the tour will be. I'm wondering if she will do any dates in Asia or South America. It's going to be exciting times!

To me it would make more sense to have released "D'elles" near the end of this year or early 2008, then tour Europe like she is doing, then release the English album later in 2008 and tour North America. If she wants the English album to do well you would think she would want to have that release around the time when she will be touring in English speaking countries. Hopefully both albums will do well.

I'm really having a hard time believing that the tickets will go onsale this early when she's not even ended the Vegas run. But that said some concerts do go on sale nearly 12 months before so who knows....

Beyoncé released "B'Day" in September and she will tour in Italy next month. Xtina released "Back To Basics" in August and she will tour in Italy next month... So why Céline can't do the same? It's very unusual to tour the very month the album is out.

I remember Kylie's UK tour dates went on sale more than 1 year in advance. I'm so excited, but I want Celine to play huge stadiums again, to see if she can still sell them out. I wonder if she can. What do you guys think?
