La maison de disques de Céline Dion, Columbia (Sony-BMG), avait indiqué par erreur jeudi que la chanteuse donnerait dix concerts à Bercy. Elle se produira en fait six fois du 19 au 27 mai 2008 sur la scène du POPB et une fois le 5 juillet 2008 au stade Charles-Ehrmann-Nikaia de Nice. La Québécoise, dont le nouvel album en français, "D'elles", sortira le 21 mai prochain, s'était produite pour la dernière fois dans l'Hexagone les 19 et 20 juin 1999, au Stade de France, attirant 150.000 spectateurs en deux soirs. "D'elles" (clin d'oeil à l'album à succès "D'eux", écrit par Jean-Jacques Goldman pour Céline Dion en 1995) est un album concept dont les textes sont essentiellement centrés sur la femme et sont signés par des femmes écrivains françaises et québécoises: Françoise Dorin, Christine Orban, Nina Bouraoui, Marie Laberge, Lise Payette, Denise Bombardier, Nathalie Nechtschein et Janette Bertrand. Depuis 2003, Céline Dion se produit en exclusivité au célèbre hôtel-casino Caesars Palace de Las Vegas. Son contrat avec cet établissement s'achèvera le 15 décembre prochain. I've seen her at MSG in NYC twice, well 3 times if you count the Theater in that building. It's a good venue for her, I liked the round stage on the LTAL tour the best.
