TC shipped 1 million in February 2008 and its sales crossed the million mark in June. So if ''E=MC2'' is a strong american release then ''Taking Chances'' is also a strong american release.

I can't wait to have the album in my hands and (maybe) a ticket for her concert too!

I'm not going crazy for this song, simply because is not the kind of music I love most ... but I can't wait to hear the other one you posted and is sung only by Akon yet!

I don't know if it's gonna be an extraordinary comeback or not ... but I'm really happy she's singin' again!!! :clap:

I'm pretty sure her forthcoming album will flop hard around the world like E=MC2 and Discipline.

Discipline is running for the "Flop of the Year", together with Alanis Morissette's Flavors of Entanglement and Sheryl Crow's Detours, but in the case of E=MC2, it's arguably a commercial disappointment. it sold 1.1M copies in America and JUST 1.7M worldwide.

the album is set to hit the market this holiday, so it might get the advantage of the holiday sales, just like in the case of TC. but i don't know, look at Britney's Blackout, J. Lopez's Brave and Mary J. Blige's Growing Pains' sales, the holiday factor is out of the picture, so who knows.

i have no hopes for this album to sell millions, but im happy she's back and she's still alive. :clap:

The problem with Céline, Gonzaillo, is that English isn't her mother tongue and she isn't able to be on point many times with her "English singing voice". Most of the time she sounds like a sledgehammer. There are exceptions of course...most of them to be found on her Celine Dion album. It just proves the point that she needs to WANt and CONCENTRATE on the song before singing it in English at least.

It's right, Celine doesn't need high keys for a good song and same for Whitney

Skies of LA is a great example.

I wish for Celine something in English like SSDA.
