Yes i did, but after 9 she started to make crappy albums, weird musical directions and I got a feeling she tried to be the Céline/Whitney of Eastern Europe...

 

I like the new single, I wish the rest of the album was more like that... it bothers me too that she sings a lot of notes high pinched all the time on it... it doesnt give room for air.

 

 

I'll be seeing her in september, but I am fearing it might be my last time

I actually think 'Le Secret' is a pretty good album, I like it. But my most played Lara's album these days is 'Every Woman In Me'. I like the sound. It's pure and simple and classy and flawless 2 me. Lara has always been one of my favorites

Well... I've never been crazy about this song even when Celine does it with Andrea. So... I do love Lara but her version definitely lacks smth. Dunno how to explain

I never liked the song. Not the solo version by Celine neither the duet version. As Lara's version is almost the same, I don't like her version either.

Such a boring song IMO.

 

I do like Lara's new album, but haven't listened to it that much, yet. Only received it just before the weekend.

 

What I don't like are those 'interludes'. It's like every song has a crappy ending with strange noises.

As they are stuck to the songs, I had to include them on my mp3-player. I usually leave the interludes out.

Hope they'll release a one CD version with JUST the songs.

Saw Lara live in Brussels last Saturday. After listening to Le Secret many times by now, I have to say it's one of my least favorite Lara albums.

Still, her concert was amazing. She is one of my all time favorite live singers.

She performed most of her new songs and included some of my favorite 'oldies' like Je T'aime, J'y Crois Encore, Immortelle, Humana.

One song I never expected and had me going out of my mind: I Will Love Again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OMG!! Did she sing IWLA on Saturday!?!?! Damn she didn't sing that on Friday!

Did she do J'Ai Zappé too on Saturday?

 

In the begining we were afraid that she was going to sing the whole cd as one go... cos the first three songs

were the same three songs as the album...

 

It was hard to not compare her with Céline all the time, maybe mostly cos we know we'll be seeing Céline in November...

But Lara is a totally different artist, she is more dramatic and theatrical.

 

After the concert, I did start to appreciate Le Secret more. What I liked about the concert arrangements though,

is that there weren't all those annoying distracting back ground noises...

 

Le Secret is still no where near Pure, Nue or 9, but it's better than TLFEM.

How awesome! I remember you telling me your plans about going to her concert a few months ago. Glad you could make it and enjoyed it.

Lara Fabian: the reissue of the album "The Secret" 28 October

 

Returning in April with the album "The Secret", Lara Fabian now proposes a first reissue next month, at the launch of a major tour that will occupy her for nearly nine months. In the meantime, the video for her new single "Danse" should be unveiled.

 

While she announces that the title "Danse " is the second single from her new album " Le Secret ", Lara Fabian is ready to hit the road for a long tour that will stop at the Chatelet Theater 16 and 17 November. Concerts are scheduled throughout France, from October 4, the singer of "Tout" will perform at Theatre Sebastopol Lille until June 2014 after two final concerts at the Zenith in Clermont- Ferrand 14 and Gare du Midi in Biarritz the day after. In the meantime, Lara Fabian will unveil the video for her new single "Danse , the first pictures were posted on her Facebook page . This video could also appear on the reissue of the album " Le Secret ", whose release on October 28 is confirmed by several sites selling online such as Fnac.com and Amazon.fr . Released as a double album full of 17 tracks, the (reissue) album "Le Secret" will feature several bonuses and a DVD, which could also find the video of the first single "Deux ils, deux elles " unveiled earlier this year.

 

The tracklisting for this reissue remains secret, but its publication leaves nothing to chance. In addition to coinciding with the launch of a new single and a tour, this new version will be timely, a few weeks after the finale of the show "The Best , le meilleure artist" , in which Lara Fabian participated as a juror . A role that many artists are planning to endorse for various television shows like "The Voice" and "Dancing with the Stars" to receive maximum exposure and attract attention to their last albums. Certified gold and passed 50,000 copies, "Le Secret" made its entry into pole position in the Top Albums in April, testimony to the faithfulness of the public despite a long absence of four years.

 

Also on the front of the stage after a 25 year career, Lara Fabian will be welcomed. “To last , I think this is the most complex" she confided in Pure Charts in our last interview , explaining that it was necessary to know how to renew oneself constantly so as to surprise her audience . With "Le Secret" , a sort of rock opera which opens the doors of her privacy, the challenge is raised.

Well, I gotta tell you we had a GREAT time yesterday at her concert. I went with my mom. Lara's just so creative and so awesome, simply unbelievable. I know Celine's fans for the most part never really liked Lara but I've always loved her and yesterday I learned WHY once again She's got hell of a voice :w00t:

Well, not really She didn't do 'Adagio', neither she did 'I Will Love Again' even though people really wanted the latter one cuz they knew the lyrics to some extent Anyway, I gotta tell you that my favorite from 'Le Secret' album is 'Il est Lune', I'm SO IN LOVE with this song, I can listen this song forever and she DIDN'T DO IT. And this never happened to upset me cuz other songs she did sounded so amazing that I was happy on an epic scale

 

P.S. 'Je t'aime'... Of course she performed 'Je t'aime' Even some of those who hate her can't help it but LLLOVE the song

Ooooh too bad she didn't do Il Est Lune... it is a wonderful song and also one of my favs of the album (and one of the best performances from that night I saw!) I am happy you had a great evening!

 

Did anyone get that new release yet? I saw it at Fnac but I didn't buy it...
