i'd been listening to a few songs from lara for the lasat few years, mostly her big hits but i only recently discovered some other wonderful songs like Humana and Si tu m'aimes. So i went and bought the Pure album on itunes. Wonderful album!!!

This evening Lara Fabian hosted a fanmeeting at the Bouglione Circus near the Atomium in Brussels, the capital of Belgium. A couple of hundreds of fans, invited by Lara Fabian and her fanclub were waiting to enter the Circus. Members of the fanclub were invited for free to meet Lara during the presentation of her new album "Tout les femmes et moi" which will be released on December the first of this year. Fanclub members could bring a friend who paid 25 EUR entrance fee to enter the circus. After about 45 minutes of waiting Lara entered the arena of the circus and was welcomed by a standing ovation by the people. The host of the show (don't remember who he was) talked with Lara in French about her life and her new, upcoming, album. During those conversations several tracks of the new album were played for the very first time. The album will be a French album and will collect new songs with some covers which were rebuild for Lara (including one famous song from France Gall). Also during the presentation some circus acts were presented including one where 3 drivers with a bike drove in a large bowl with Lara Fabian in the middle of it. Although she didn't sing a note (It was made clear in advance that it wouldn't be a live performance), 6 songs of her new album were played through a audiosystem in the Circus. Fans had the chance to ask her some questions during the show (some previously written at the entrance, some from people in the audience. After about 2 hours the show was finished and everyone gave her a amazing applause.

 

At first no pictures were allowed but as long as you didn't use a flash they didn't care about. After about an hour and a half Lara said that everyone was allowed to take pictures with or without the flash.

 

I took some pîctures during the whole show (without a flash and from a certain distance) but I had some decent ones.

thank you so much Stijn!! I hope you had a wonderful evening! how where the new songs? Did she mentioned Céline/PQTME or not? LOL Lara's looking good, the highlights in her hair look great on her! lol

She did mention Céline a couple of times...

 

And I think her new album will be great... The songs she let us listen to were just great! Including the famous France Gall song which had a total different arrangement compared to the original. Lara's version (still can't find the title, will find it later) was way better that the original France Gall version... Also the new songs were very nice, a other kind a music compared to her previous album(s). I don't know how I can explain it but it seemed a bit jazzy or so...

 

At the first of december the album will be released... Next year she will perform again in Belgium and also in other countries, probably promoting her new album although she mentioned that there are also other new albums being produced.

 

Although she didn't sing, I liked the "private" meeting very much. She was very nice to everyone. Don't know to much artists who arrange (free) fandays for the fans and let they hear the new unreleased songs.

céline used to have fanmeetings with TC members untill 1998 I think... then MHWGO make it sink to the bottom

Blues, Jazz, Gospel, Klezmer, Tango, Neo Classic, White Soul come close without disturbing each other...

Songs like « Gottingen » (Barbara), « L'amour existe encore » (Céline Dion) or « Il venait d'avoir 18 ans » (Dalida)embrace each other in TLFM...

The legitimacy of this mixture is the reality of this very mixture, which explains my career...

I offered myself a deep introspection... Now, I am offering it to you...

When skimming through these pages, you will find letters. I won't tell you more... There are somehow words I finally dared to tell...THEM.

TLFM is not an album of covers, it is a travel. The itinerary of a child of snow and fire, blessed by these exceptional women...
