I've been here 3 months and still liking it. I get to interact with the people I help with in person as well as on phone, email, IM. Also I like my boss. I worked for her previously about 5 years ago (she referred me to apply). Work is challenging again. And great benefits and pay xD

Adi, I'm glad you're feeling better. And I'm listening to Cabrel's "Le Cygne Blanc" from "Des Roses Et Des Orties". I like it! :D Tomorrow I'll listen to the rest of the album.

Edwin, that's really good. B)

If it's anything like here, then I'm wondering the same. -12, but with the wind it's making it -23.

How's the new year treating you, Del? Besides the cold, of course.

That made me laugh! Isn't it usually cold up there? (just wondering)

Now here, where I'm at, Houston, it's cold!! 43 and rainy! Haven't seen the sun all day  I don't do to well below 72 ;)

and don't even talk about snow.....or worse ice!

You should see me drive on that stuff.....If you're ever down here and it's icy or snowing....stay off the roads! I have no clue how to drive on the stuff, along with half the population of Houston :)

Here, it's -20 without wind or anything... It should warm up this week though... It's really the wind that makes things bad... Without wind, -20 isn't that bad.

Yes, but it's always a chock. It takes a while to get used to. :) I have seriously considered moving to some place warm today.... For driving, I would say to just slow down a bit (but not too much because that's not better), leave more distance between cars, have good tires and you should be good. :)

Adi, when are you going to let us hear your singing talents again? B) I hope soon!

And I'm in love with "African Tour". I'm glad I followed your advice. :D

Yes I did Luis! I managed to talk my youngest son into it with me. My husband still looked at me like I was crazy though.

I am glad yours went with you! Now you are going to Prague! Bon Voyage!!

I'm sure you enjoyed it. I'm always up to doing new things, even when some people think they may be a bit ridiculous. Probably your husband, with all the flying he does, didn't feel the need to run around with his suitcase.

And thank you! I hope it's great, I'm excited.

OMG! minus 20! I don't know how yall survive!

You must be laughing your butt off when I said 43! I couldn't do it....I think I would have to stay inside then I would get cabin fever :bonk:

It's not that bad. It's really the wind that makes the difference. We have been here for more than 400 years so it just depends on our way of life, the way our buildings are made and all. Once you're well equiped, it's not that bad. :)

Don't forget that it's in celcius... but it's still very cold. I often wonder how I deal with it. One of the reasons I have a heated mattress cover for my bed. haha

The summers are nice as it gets warm. Not as warm as it would for you.

Luis: The new year has been ok so far. I had a nice relaxing new years eve. New Years day I didn't do much and was a nice start to the year. Today was back to work...

Oh yeah, celcius. Yes we are not on that system. Yes but still way too cold!

-27 (celcius but still. There's wind which makes it terribly cold!) I do not want to get out of bed (for obvious reasons). If I wouldn't love Quebec this much. I would leave (it's part of the charm bit still..)

I often thought of going south for the winter. However I don't think my work would appreciate me saying... moving south for the winter, I'll be working from home see you in a few months. lol
