AARRGG!!! I'm just happy it's all over. I have S her gift yesterday and it was just soo bittersweet. It makes me so sad to think that we might never see each other again... Anyway, I will enjoy the holidays ! :)

Well, good luck with that, Adi.

Today I'll look for a present for my cats. Yesterday it was for my in-laws. I think they're gonna like what I got them.

I love wrapping gifts. I think I love wrapping more than unwrapping. :xmas:

A person cannot and will never be defined by any limitation they have.

It's so true...but sometimes, unfortunately, it doesn't work. Like here, in Bulgaria, everyone just keeps talking about integraition of certain groups of people but no one actually does a thing about it... Anyway, I hope everybody on the forum is OK and excited about Christmas.

Of course. Last month I proposed here in my building that a little ramp for disabled people should be available in the building entrance, but no one gave a darn about it.

Even one stupid lady said, well, there's no disabled people in my family, so I won't have to pay for that. If there's someone in your family, then why don't you go ahead and build it yourself. OMG I just went outside to vent. And the funniest thing is that two days later a friend of that woman came to visit her and she was on a wheelchair. I helped her and her son move up the stair that is in front of the building. The next day that I saw the lady; she pretended not to see me, but I could tell the shame on her face.

It reminds me of that line of Celine's "Love Is All We Need' - 'It's not my problem so it's not my call'. Too many people are like this...

Yeah, my hubby sometimes scolds me. He says, you care too much about certain people and when you least expect it, you turn around and they kick your butt. :lmao:

Yes that is the problem today about society in general.... The general attitude is that if it doesn't help me then why should I care...

The funny thing is that those people usually cry the loudest when they need something.....

Well enough of this gloom..... :xmas_laugh: Have a safe weekend everyone in forum land! Stay well! (as someone we know would say :giggle: )

Yeah, that's true... Usually the more you do about people, the more they take it for granted. When they need you, you're there. But when you need them...

So you're probably a very energetic person who needs to do something all the time. I have a friend who likes being busy and really gives his best all the time. I'm not like this. I like being at home doing almost nothing. But I guess you already knows that I'm the lazy one here :giggle: .

She lives with her husband and their son in the same town but hasn't come to our house for about 1-2 months 'cause they were busy doing some repairing in their home.

Today would have been my mom's birthday if she were still alive. She would have been 67 years old. Tomorrow makes ten years since I lost her.

It wouldn't be so bad if my parents didn't live in an extremely boring town.
