Still no electricity for my family, this is the 5th day.... :blink: So I had my mum and dad sleeping over at my place last night. In my tiny 35 square apartment. :-D Well it went ok though.

I wish they'd get it fixed today already!!

 

Is there any particular reason why the power is not back on yet?

 

Just curious, what's everyone doing on New Year's eve? :)

 

A nice good dinner maybe. :-D

Not any particular reason no, at least not that we know of... :shrug: The storm just was so enormous (in Finnish "scale") that there were a LOT of damage and so the work is progressing really slow... I didn't even think this was possible, for the power to be off for so long..! :blink: But luckily the temperature is around 0 degrees, so that the water plumming won't start freezing.. Many areas have gotten the power back already, but this area is one where it's still going to take some time they say, possibly even til next week.. but we'll see!

And a nice good dinner sounds cool! ^_^

 

Well I'm probably going to my sister's place for New Year's Eve, she'll have some friends of her's coming over.. and possibly I take one friend of mine with me too, if she agrees to come with me. :-D

I'm going to a friend's house for New Year's Eve. I leave today so will not be here. But I'm not taking off for quite a few hours.

Near, far, whenever you are my friends !!! :friends: That's the way it is, that's where my heart beats now... :giggle: It's actually across the street :P Where are moving the store, not my house thou. I live in another place, like 10 blocks from the shop :wink:

I've been SO busy that I can't wait for tomorrow night to enjoy lots of champagne with friends and watch the fireworks by the monuments! And then we're off early on the 1st to get on our boat and head to The Bahamas :D

No, Roxanne, you're not the only one! :) I never do anything for New Year's. I don't even stay up till midnight most of the time. :P
