The virus I got is new I believe and I assume that's why it got past my anti virus. It has NEVER let a virus past in the two years I've been using it. This is coming up on the third day I can't use my computer. I'm going bonkers. I wish my cousin would come fix it. Guess I should get up it is almost ten thirty, and I'm really hungry. Time for breakfast. That sucks. Just so that you know, not all antivirus software will pick up everything. For example AVG may pick up a virus that Kaspesky wouldn't and so on. Sorry to hear you're having computer problems, Amanda. Viruses are horrible. I got one on my old laptop 3 years ago and the hard drive had to be repaired. Hope yours gets fixed soon! Yep some of the things that they do.... OMG. I had to reinstall windows on a friend's computer because this virus broke alot of things. Did you get the new white one? Hackers are using it to get people's credit card numbers to get money. It is very hard to get rid of and can damage your computer permanently from what I read. It has shown up again a lot more recently it seems. So now they are "evacueed" in my and my sister's places. Cause it just got too freezing in their house.. It's ok otherwise but my apartment is veeery tiny, for more than one person. I really really hope they get electricity back by tomorrow!! Ahhhh those fake AVs, I seen then before myself and I seen others. I seen one where it say that you need to activate windows. Have you tired (on a clean computer) downloading Kaspersky Virus Removal Tool and running that (on the computer that is infected)?
