There’s a law in the U.S. called The Castle Doctrine which is a self-defense provision that allows for the use of force, including deadly force, within one's home. The Castle Doctrine has been adopted in full in some states, and in part in others, as a means of justifiable homicide. Why just some states and not others?????

I am so (angry) because I keep waking up at 5 AM. One of my roommates is not home yet from visiting her mom in Texas over New Year's and until she comes home, I think my body/system will not feel safe and able to relax. This sucks.
