Yeah lindsey...alot of it doesnt make alot of sense...as I said before celine has one of the worst production teams of any artist. Yet she is the best selling female artist of all time basically. It makes no sense. I think everyone on the forum should apply for a job to take over celines team! We would all do an amazing job...atleast million times better than what she currently has...with that being said..from the videos I have seen online...everything looks fantastic for this concert dvd. Granted they are only youtube videos from the DVD..but the angles look great and celine looks fantastic..full of energy. Lots more engery than on the AND DVD which looked sometimes forced and awkward. So far..even though there are many other better nights they could have used...the dvd looks excellent. Hmm I wonder if this post will be moved to another part of the forum since I didnt just complain..maybe i should add a few more negative remarks haha jk

I am still very happy with the movie and the concertdvd! As for the design, ok, the cover is not great.. but when watching the movie I finally got it why they used the spaceyfont - because those are the kind of font used in airports and trainstations! they move around in the movie (just as on a departure and leavingscreen) and give that feeling too. It works very well.. so I must say they had a plan and it worked out very good for that part!

As for the autotune thing, well, I can hear that very well, because I know the software very good, and no autotune in the dvd for me... I don't hear it! And when one thing you should remember is that all of our recordings on youtube are totally not to compare with the TOP NOTCH recordings they made these nights!  I mean, we see Celine from all angles, and that's why they sometimes took some recordings from Montreal as well, I think. But I don't know te venue and when I would not have read all this in here, I would not have seen it immediately that there are mixed performances in the dvd! Ok, she was better in Amsterdam. But it was already planned long ago to film the concert in Boston and Montreal. You cannot blame her or the company who filmed it, because both gave their very best. But I agree when they would have chosen Manchester ( with think twice in it) or Amsterdam or Omaha! then the audience is more open and enthusiastic, and Celine loves that and gives her best, which she already does, but just gives that extra to her fans!
And I must say, I actually think that both the movie and concertdvds of the taking chances tour, in terms of overall filming and sound, are the best of Celine ( after au coeur du stade) we have had in years!

Andnow that i watched this movie again i have to say that was really boring.The first time i was excited but now i can realise that some parts were extremely boring.I can understand the people who were leaving from the cinema during it.I would prefer this documentary to be shorter without having the whole perfomances and songs that are also included in the taking chnaces the concert dvd.For god sake.
ps And i dont complain just to complain.I have seen A new Day live in Vegas dvds more than 10 times without being bored.I don't know what's wrong with this one.

I paid attention to Celine's makeup and hair and you can tell that they have merged the two nights performances in Boston together.  They have done a pretty good job from what I can see though!   But what does annoy me is that because I know that Sony have edited a lot of things (like in TTEOTW - Using concert footage from Boston and label it as being elsewhere)  I am now looking out for errors constantly and I wish I could just enjoy it!! Arrrgg Sony!!

Yes they made some weird choices,
i miss tsmgo on the CD it's so a great song, don't like the prayer they could have switched it with i'm your angel
on DVD and CD.
I miss indeeeed the high notes in je sais pas and the high between notes in Alone.
But she looks amazing and for some reason i never liked LCMM but now i do like it live...
And where is tSMGO on the CD what a great great song this is...

Some of you guys are seriously paranoid... it's getting to the point of being rediculous.

The crying bit is definitrely from Omaha. Her hair looks the same. Someone shouts in the background: ''You made it!'', meaning she made it through the tour... Rollande helped her to put a jacket on which she has on in the car too while she is crying and talking about the break and stuff.  

Where do people even get that information from that they used footage from Boston and labelled it as somewhere else. The frigging venues does not even look the same and you can clearly see it in most of the clips...

You guys are making it sound like Celine and her whole team are evil and that they are deceiving people. None of you guys are so important that Sony would have felt the need to try and hide something from you or whatever.

Relax and enjoy the DVDs. I would hate for Celine to ever read the complaints about these DVDs. I'm sure it will break her heart to know that people are so unthankful... because that is exactly what some of you guys are being now... Bellamy is 100% right, you guys are complaining just to complain...

Do you think that it didn't break my heart when I saw some despointing part of the movie?  
I don't understand why it would break her heart to read that we want more performances from her in other cities and that DVD doesn't represent that amazing tour!   Well, I am sorry but I Will not say that I liked something I bought with my money, just to make her happy!  
I don't like that fact that I am obliged to skip the full Monston/Botreal performances each Time I watch the movie!!!

They never said the songs were from the cities they were at during the movie! Nothing was labelled!

Why did she hang on that last note? The song is irritating for starters why PUSH that last note farther than it should be? She's like HANGING with her two arms on that note and she wouldn't let go. LET GO CELINE LET GO!!

Well they only had the full production crew at Boston and Montreal, so the footage wouldn't be as good if they took the best performances for different cities.

As far as I'm concerned we've been spoilt with this tour. We've got videos on YouTube from every concert so we know that there are better nights. Where as in the 90s and Vegas people were happy with what they got as there was very little to compare them to.

I disagree! the shots from other cities than Boston and Montreal you can see in CTTEOTW are just as good as the TCTW dvd IMO!! though I don't like a dvd with clips from all over the place, they should have done that with CTTEOTW

The L.A performance was also after she was sick. It was the show before Phoenix. She was clearly scared to dissapoint people and she was almost trying to make a come back after resting for more than a month. I have a theory for IAMW too. She changed the notes to the higher notes because it was easier for her to sing them. Celine doesn't have a problem with the high notes. In fact, I think it is easier for her to pull them off  when she is sick and her vocal chords doesn't want to co-operate. She had a problem with the lower notes during the US leg.

I agree with you on the AND show. She definiteley improved as the show went on. But I still think she sounds better on this DVD than on the AND DVD. In fact, I think she sounds better on SLP than she did in Vegas...

I agree with Claudette, she sounded the best in (sorry to be baised ) Europe! they should have released a live in London and a Live in Montreal or Antwerp IMO!

they could have released the best show that she did LIVe in its entirity , instead of this fiasco.

I don't know if I've ever read a more dramatic post about something so insignificant.  I happened to read it before I watched it and half expected her head to explode after the note, but in reality she doesn't look like she had any problem with it at all.  It was like 3 seconds first of all, not 45 minutes like you make it out to be.  And her arm was shaking but it wasn't because it took so much effort to sing a note.  She clearly wasn't in pain, nor was it a health risk to sing that note.  I mean come on, really?  If you thought that note was bad, dare I ask what you thought about her All By Myself Note.

Im not reading this topic anymore cause its total crap really. People are picking out things that dont exist and making up stuff. Why even analyze it so much? im glad i got to enjoy it without disecting her finger nails etc.....Sorry, but im just annoyed that people are constantly banging on and on about her lypsyinching,,,,blada blada blada......same thing over and over, and im sure same people will harp on and on about it when she returns to Vegas. It just ruins it for fans really who read it here and believe these negitive comments and then think Celien is miming all the time, so therefore unable to enjoy her singing. Im going to be careful of the topics I read from now on, cause I have nothing bad to say about either dvd. To me they are the best dvds i have seen,, so professional. And I dont believe it was all boston footage or whatever. It clearly is not.......
Anyway , this thread is giving me a headache and thank god i only read a bit of it or it would have taken away how good it all was

I really really wish there were more Bonus footage. It's kind of misleading saying there's an extra hour in TTEOTW b/c there really isn't.... all of those performances they consider bonus can be seen on the concert dvds....  I love the backstage footage and "how they did that" kind of segments, and I feel like in the extra hour of footage, if you take away the extra performances, we get like 10 minutes of truly bonus material.

I want the other 997 hours. !!

I agree with you Lindsey And I've only seen half of the DVD (1H 20M aprox), but without having seen the rest of the DVD I can tell you that I really miss more behind the scenes moments from what they did during her spare time. We have plenty of those moments, yes, but I have to tell that I feel angry about the fact that they included full videos of the same Boston performances we already have in the Boston DVD! I feel so pissed off about that! If only they have included different performances of those songs, but my gosh, the same ones as the concert DVD? What the hell? They are supposed to have more than 1,000 hours of material!!   

So, how many brand new material do we really have here? If we remove the performances we already have in the english concert, how long is the movie? 2h 30? 2 hours?

Other than that, the DVD is great and I am so happy with this release again. But I can't overlook the fact that some of the footage is the same we already have in another DVD!

And I think that for whatever reason, this is going to be the main complaint from fans about the movie (and they -we- are right with this point guys)

This post makes me LOL! Trembling?? Shaking?? Painful?? Please.... the note your speaking about was lip synced. Not even live. Celine was not in even the slightest amount of pain at the given moment...maybe she felt a little awkward (well who wouldn't feel awkward just standing there while shaking and making seizure motions).

i have no idea why they didnt inlcude all her long and high and great notes on the DVD. instead they give tired performances just liike they did give nasal performance of Live in LV CD. Are they STUPID or what!!!! what the hell!!!  if it wasnt for youtube we wouldnt know about the spendid performances she did of all the songs.
How hard is it to compile all these great performances together
and dont tell me that they didnt have the crew there because they taped every single one of her concerts and at least the audio .

But again i must lay some of the blame on Celine herself. Sometimes i just want to shake her and tell her that she has to start caring about the artisitic side of things. she just blindly lives in this cocoon in lala land. i am so angry with her for no taking a more active role in her own career. Its a miracle indeed that she is the most selling artist. you see the difference how Madonna packages her Sticky and Sweet tour. You better belive Madonna reviewed every single frame of video and audio that was released under that DVD, and Rene is so old , he hasnt a clue about anything anymore. he really needs to let Celine go. she needs a new manager.

Claudette they used footage from other cities and said it was this city or that city in CTTEOTW, and its so blaring too because they used the same concert footage.
i mean if they had sooo much footage why did they repeat the eaxact same concert footage in both dvd's. are they THAT lazy , WOW   with Celine they always take the easy and fast way for everything and they had all the time in the world to put these DVD's togther.
Hell why didnt they hire me to edit this. i could have done a KICK-#ss job.

I don't know if I've ever read a more dramatic post about something so insignificant.  I happened to read it before I watched it and half expected her head to explode after the note, but in reality she doesn't look like she had any problem with it at all.  It was like 3 seconds first of all, not 45 minutes like you make it out to be.  And her arm was shaking but it wasn't because it took so much effort to sing a note.  She clearly wasn't in pain, nor was it a health risk to sing that note.  I mean come on, really?  If you thought that note was bad, dare I ask what you thought about her All By Myself Note.
