I must say the support act for Manchester was absolutely crap! He sang about 5 songs, and each one sounded exactly the same. His voice sounded like he was dying. And also nobody knew him at all! When they announced him on stage everyone around me was like "Who the hell is he!?". I saw one woman playing Scrabble on her Nintendo DS which just sums up how bad that 20 mins was!!

 

I agree with some previous posts that yes the audience was full of old/middle aged couples. I just saw a few female students in their late teens/early 20's but that was about it. Being 14 I think I was the youngest one in there!!!!!!!!!

OMG!!!!! I CANT BELIVE ITS OVER!!! I HAD SUCHA GOOD TIME!!!! I was so impressed with her voice - was in top shape - im gonna go back and read all the posts now (haha about 20,000 pages worth) but she sounded like she sung most of them live - on my train comming back the girl behind me had been sitting in front of rene in the audience!

 

 

yeh it was hillarious how many middle aged people there was there! sooo amazing tho!

 

I loved the re-vamped I'm Alive!! it was reeeally good! and my love accoustic, she was in out corner singing that on her knees it was sooo good.

one woman was moaning she was saying

 

'this is disgusting it says it starts at 8pm they should have made a announement, she will only do a few then leave'

 

i said to her

 

'celine isnt meant to come on at 8 pm she is meant to come on at about 20.50, it said so on the email and I was here last night'

Wow, Think Twice was amasing. So so oh so wonderful to hear it again.

 

And are people stille chatting during her concerts?!

 

However it feels like she's holding back on the "nono no no!"part, like she's afraid to sound too loud.

 

I said before I didn't quite know what to make up of this white pyjama outfit. Now after seeing the one which replaced it - that horrible black thingy with glittery things glued on it - I must say I really liked the white pyjama. Coz it was freakily wierd it got cool - the new one is just freaky and taseless.

For those who are interested! I've recorded more DVD quality bootleg which is uploading now (Koolan)

 

It is different in the sense that I was sat at the end of one of the travelators so you get a different persepctive!

 

I also have a bootleg (potentially) of the sound check!! However I did have to sign a disclaimer so not sure about posting it for being sued!! - Mods any advice on this??

I saw him just before Celine came on!! I wasn't expedcting it so I was really shocked and happy to actually see him too! I was near the front in block 107 and he was sitting in a chair on the ground level between Block 108 and the ground seating area. He was sitting next to another guy at the sound/light computer table thingy. I got a picture of him but it didn't come out too well in the light!

yeh there was looaaads of middle aged couples type people there but im glad we ddint have some of the 'sit down' horror stories alot of you are reporting! Sounds awful!! but people were standing up by us in block f and LOADS in block A.

Pix from fi and sat - looks like she has WAY more white tape round her legs on the saturday - I WAS SO surprised that the horrible white jumper thing had gone already as well! haha i was really pleased! And for those who dont like the loook of the waiscoat look - it was actually really nice - jus the flared trousers could have done with being not flared.

I didn't go to Manchester but I shall be in Birmingham (STANDING and DANCING, in a middle-aged kind of way!). Plus it says on my tickets "People around you may stand!". Well, I'll be one of them

It really put a downer on the first night in Manchester for us. We were told to sit down a few times (we didn't though!). Even if we wanted to there were people standing in front of us, so we wouldn't have been able to see. At one point someone must have complained and the steward came up to us to ask iuf we could sit. I told her we would if she could get everyone else to sit down! Of course there was no chance in that happening!

 

It's a concert for heavens sake! People like to dance at these events and above all it was Celine!
