hey. i went on saturday. had a bit of a rubbish concert and it was a bit of a let down to be honest. i sat on the floor quite close to the front. celine spent most of the time round the other side and i hardly ever saw her. i was also a bit let down as the show was a direct copy of the spice girls. but oh well. i saw her. i heard her (even though some notes were lipped apparently) lol. does anyone have any audio? thanks.

I admit Celine didn't spend much time around the side I was sitting on, however I still thought the concert rocked loved all the new bits they added in, I was quite impressed. Although a little sad that TWIM and CFTF had gone...

 

Anyway, the reall reason I was posting, I found a picture I took on my phone of the merchandise store, so I thought I'd share:

After i found out that Munich will have the high tech stage like manchester i have sorrows that my view will be not that good!

I sit in the second row directly in front of the stage.

How was your view in manchester from there?

Do you saw the entire stage or the big monitors?

Please help

 

 

In Manchester they had the big monitors hanging from the roof and then smaller ones around the stage.

 

Hope that helps a bit!

 

I was in 4th row in front of the stage and I had a great view of of everything going on there, the roof monitors were directly above my head but I watched basically the whole show on the stage, Celine, the band and the dancers were quite close.

The only thing you wont get to see is the different stage floor lighting effects as you are not looking down onto it.

Apart from that it's a great show. Hope you enjoy.

We Will Rock You is embarrasing as always and surely needs to be taken out, We Will Rock You is finally starting to improve, never thought she did this well (not even on that French show) it was always soulless and empty over phrasing. Now it's actually starting to sound good.

 

However out with WWRY, but I guess since it's a part of a "medly" and they have all now rehersed it as a medly, it is impossible to take that out and leave TSMGO in.

 

And Alone sure sounds super good on this tour, how I wish they did a live video out of it like with EOM but more proffesional and flashy as official video than that lousy CBS lipped one with no live atmosphere whatsoever.

i saw the spice girls show in december and saw celine on sat!

 

i can point out there was no resemblance! lol

 

first of all:

 

different crowd

different staging

different type of dance

different effects

different everything!

just thought i tell everyone my similarities

 

but i do agree she did spend load of time of my side of the stage and i did feel bad for the other side but thats not entirely her fault

I still can not get over the fact that TJTWIM and CFTF are not in the list... gawd remove IYA... and put those wonderfull songs back into the list...

the difference of the sound at a madonna's concert is because most of it is pre-recorded an not live

 

No, I'm talking about the quality of sound, from the speakers. Whether that is from a microphone (live singing) or a CD (lipping) is not relevant. And come on - we all know there's lipping in a Celine concert. We weren't born yesterday.

 

I'm with you on the sound. I wasnt impressed and usually at Celine shows it is fantastic. She does have great sound engineers sometimes its the venue. Also I dont think round set ups ever have as good a sound. Celine in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Vegas sound was perfect. I am hoping London will be better.

 

I also put it down to me being at the front and under the speakers.

yeh i reckon its just the nearer u are the more inaudible it becomes - i was near the front and sometimes struggled to hear what she was saying when she was speaking

OMG... Sounds like she put on an absolutely amazing show for you guys. I feel a little shafted in comparison to the Melbourne show I attended , must have been testing the waters I guess, luckily I'll get to see her again in December ! And she did Think Twice.. Amazing! But no Can't Fight the Feeling, that was completely brilliant!

 

So honestly how was the center stage thing... any good and what's this new high-tech stage???

Was there Saturday night. One word: Awesome! I was completely blown away by her, and compared to vegas, i didnt feel even in the slightest disappointed. Dont get me wrong, seeing her in Vegas was a dream...but she lives and breathe on the stage of a tour. Also, this is one of the very best produced shows i think i have ever seen!

 

And those outfits were fab! Loved the strappy shoe number!

 

Cant wait for Dublin now. Although its not in the round, which im quite sad about as i thought it worked so well for her.
