Nando Férri Posted May 5, 2008 at 11:22 AM Posted May 5, 2008 at 11:22 AM However, in her nine-year break from touring (apart from a residency in Vegas), Dion has clearly been abducted by aliens and replaced by CelineBarbie, a dancing sex goddess who makes raunchy smiles at the camera, dances with musclemen, performs rockers penned by Pink's songwriter Linda Perry and, bizarrely, turns Roy Orbison songs into gay disco. It may be my lack of sleep, but I found that hysterically funny.HAHAHA. I loved this part! Quote http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m4ejungtQy1r9swpco6_250.gif
Zora Posted May 5, 2008 at 11:44 AM Posted May 5, 2008 at 11:44 AM I was there Friday night, and it was possibly one of the most magical nights of my life. There was something so special about it being in the round, and I'll never forget when the screens first lifted up and she was standing there...and the MHWGO finale was the most stunning performance of it I've ever seen, she was like a goddess and the lighting was so beautiful. Have major post gig depression now :S I may have even enjoyed it more than Vegas if that's possible! I'll never forget that night, Celine you are a creature from heaven..anyone who can dance on a moving stage with massive heels and a billowing cape, whilst singing note perfectly in their second language in front of 18,000 people deserves some sort of medal xxxxx Quote LIFE BEGINS WITH LOVE
mazceline Posted May 5, 2008 at 12:31 PM Posted May 5, 2008 at 12:31 PM the UK press isn't tender with her.. This sentence is quite odious : "an arena full of adoring middle-aged couples, mothers and daughters and gay men". well im from the uk none of them saw heard and bloody loved every minute, again, who cares what anyone else thinks we all know she is amazing, all it is , is jelousy Quote http://i16.tinypic.com/7yg8tv8.jpgSignature made by the webmiss of www.celinerific.comCeline is in 2 words MY ANGEL x x
fred Posted May 5, 2008 at 01:23 PM Posted May 5, 2008 at 01:23 PM Hahaha, those reviews were great, however I am starting to grow tired of their sterotypical minds that a great singer should be black and fat. And comparing her to Posh, common, she aint that thin, she's fit and slim, but she's far from a schelleton. /fred Quote Peace and love to all.
Bellamy Posted May 5, 2008 at 01:46 PM Posted May 5, 2008 at 01:46 PM I agree, compare Celine with Posh is too much. Quote Please support the forum by ordering everything through our special Amazon.com link Click here. Thank you!
kathyc25 Posted May 5, 2008 at 02:31 PM Posted May 5, 2008 at 02:31 PM Wow! Thanks to everyone for the reviews, pictures, videos, everything! I have to say, I`m not too fond of the white ruffly shirt and pants outfit though...the boots are hot but that`s it. It just seems out of place with the rest. I`m so excited she did Fade Away!! I hope she keeps that for Montreal in August! Quote Music Is Life...Live ItYou are the music while the music lasts. ~T.S. JessCC Posted May 5, 2008 at 03:13 PM Posted May 5, 2008 at 03:13 PM That was pretty much what almost happened in KL too. Even in the VVIP section. People were standing up and about to walk out. BTW did anyone else see the people leaving after LCMM and RDMH!? She said goodnight (like she does) and then went under the stage after LCMM and people who obviously didn't know much about her performances thought that was it, so people started leaving (especially in the higher level area). Then she came back on and did RDMH (so people came scrambling back to their seats!) and then she said goodbye everybody again after that song! Even more thought this was really the end so they started to get up when the MHWGO video came on!! I hope Rene saw this and will sort it out because I can understand how a lot of people thought it was over! Quote
ThisTime Posted May 5, 2008 at 03:30 PM Posted May 5, 2008 at 03:30 PM Wow you'd think people would know by now that she doesn't go anywhere without singing MHWGO Quote http://i.imgur.com/MfrTohK.gifMy Twitter || My Tumblr

Hilda Posted May 5, 2008 at 03:42 PM Posted May 5, 2008 at 03:42 PM "an arena full of adoring middle-aged couples, mothers and daughters and gay men". hahah thats sooooo true tho! Yeh u gotta take the uk press with a pinch coz theyre harsh about anyone most of the time - and especailly anyone like celine and mariah - they just think theyre OTT and unnessesarilly schmultsy but they dont get it. We love all that - its good to have alil OTT haha. They're just so snobby in the UK when it comes to music - if its not a band then its soooo uncool and boring. Never mind about actually being able to hit notes!! Quote
Hilda Posted May 5, 2008 at 03:44 PM Posted May 5, 2008 at 03:44 PM p.s im still tryingt to work out if eyes on me was live or not too - i thought it was when i was there but now im looking at the vids - it sounds lipped to me. Quote

And besides this is what you get when you stage the encore... an encore is when the audience crave for more after the actual show has finnished, appearently some didn't crave for more this evening, and yet she did the encore, simply cuz it's according to schedual.. /fred Quote Peace and love to all.
