the difference of the sound at a madonna's concert is because most of it is pre-recorded an not live

 

No, I'm talking about the quality of sound, from the speakers. Whether that is from a microphone (live singing) or a CD (lipping) is not relevant. And come on - we all know there's lipping in a Celine concert. We weren't born yesterday.

i know ive read these posts aswel and it actually made me feel a bit bad...but then again we all paid s*** loads of money to be there and these oap's are tellung us how to behave?! I dont think so and it spoiled my night big time.

I just hope ill still be getting a couple of other tickets for the show in stuttgart, germany and hope the people are much nicer.

I had amazing TeamCeline seats to last night's concert in Manchester, and I have to say that Celine was as charming and full of life as ever, but I have never been so ashamed to be a Celine fan as last night. Not because of Celine, but because of her fans. I've read many people experienced what I experienced last night, and I thought it was disgusting. I'm 25, I was out to have a good time, stand up and dance, and click my fingers and tap my toes. I think dancing at a pop concert is about as normal and expected as praying in a church. Yet I was told (not asked -TOLD) to sit down by the grey, dull, middle-aged people around me. A young girl who was in the row in front, also was dancing and clapping, yet she too was told to sit down. It even got quite heated with a middle-aged man almost throwing her down into her seat. The man got confrontational and aggressive and the poor girl had to call the Arena's stewards for help. She wanted clarification: 'Can I stand up and dance if I want to?'. They said yes. They told the man to calm down and that if she wants to dance, that is her right. They can't force her to sit. He was outraged that this dancing girl was blocking his wife's view, they have paid to be seated and the girl is in the way. Later, as I was dancing to I'm Alive, the couple next to me told me aggressively to sit down. I didn't. They too got heated. They said to my mother (next to me), if you don't sit him down, I'm gonna get my son to beat him up. That obviously upset my mother and it ruined her night.

 

Celine Dion fans on here are up for it. Celine Dion fans on here would be dancing with me. Celine even said at one point, come on every one - get up and dance with me. But it seems Celine Dion fans in the main are middle-aged, conservative and bloody boring.

 

When I go to a concert, I want to make noise. I want to applaud. Give standing ovations. Dance like a nutter.

 

Last night was full of old, boring married couples and it ruined, absolutely ruined the experience for me.

I'm absolutely with you.

 

And I will not pay attention to the boring person. I want to have fun and i WILL have fun !!! I can't stay on my sit and applaud at the end of the songs.

 

8th may, I will be completely in the show, that's sure !!!

Hi folks, I have now got round to uploading the photos from last night to Photobucket. The photos allow you to see what the show felt like from the tiers as opposed to the ground right in front of her. In some of the photos you get the feeling that we were seated very far from the stage, in alll honesty it did NOT feel that way. I felt close enough to be able to appreciate everyone on stage and get the benefit of the effects around the whole arena. It was great!

 

I have to aplogise that the files did not upload in the order I wanted them to. I named them in numerical order so that would flow in the same order they were taken, but sadly they got a bit mixed up during upload.

thank u so much for the review althoug its a littlle bit disapointing but i can understand ur feeling and its bec u love celine so u want the best for her but nothing in our hand we always complain but they dont listen to her real fans they listen to these people ur talking about who just want to sit and listen to any thing she sings without understanding about whats going on with the media

i am just back from tonites show!! wow!! i went last nite too, but i can def say the atmostphere was better tonite!! the main difference was, that she has got rid of the white trousers and frilly blouse!! instead she wore black sequin pants and top,with a silver coloured waist coat over it!! very nice! her mom was there with rene charles, they walked right past me which was cool!!

i wa at her hotel earlier in the day too,she did not sign autographs today, as she did yesterday, i got an autograph and a pic with her which was so exciting!!

My last minute ticets were amazing! Got a differenbt view of thew stage and when celine came onto the catwalk she was soooooo close! Got amazong pics as well.

 

Yeah the atmosphere was great! She came on ealier (20.45 instead of the 21.00 start from Fridays show) Also there were two new changes to the costumes. The white suit was gone instead we go a great sparkly trouser and jacket suit. They looked great! Also did any notice that the boots for the IAMW section were longer? The lace detail was all the way up Celines leg.

 

Anyway another fantastic night, Celine was on top form again. So glad I went, but come next month when my CC bill arrives I won't be LOL.

hey yes i noticed the shoes.last nite they were only tied up to about calf height, tonight they were the full length, i love them!! i see she mentioned about moscow again,relating to the football!! not as many boos though as last night when she said this!!

The show was amazing! Loved the new costume, I was sitting further back but I took some pics so I'll try and show you how it looks.

 

She messed up a bit in TSMGO but who cares because it's still my favourite song in the show. Her voice is just unreal, she sang the crap out of everything. No holding back or saving her voice, she's in great form. I think the time off did her the world of good!

Well, she was at the Lowry. I was just there and they're telling everyone that she checked out already and a white van came for her stuff earlier (this was confirmed by fans who were there). So who knows! Maybe it was a decoy but I was there till midnight and there was no sign of her.

Hey guys- I just got back from the hotel (I wasn't at the show but just wanted to spot her again)- I really think she's left for London tonight- couple of people asked the Hotel staff and they said she'd left and wouldn't be staying there tonight- I know that's not v reliable, but last night there were loads of staff outside before she arrived back tho tonight there were none- and no photgraphers or ***ttish autograph hunters. I didn't know you were there Thomas- you should have said hi!

Back from the second manchester gig. my oh my do i love you celine. she was absolutely mesmerising for want of a better word. i was stunned!!

 

it was nice to see an audience full of many ages, couples, youngsters, teenagers like me, older people and parents. what a show it was. credit to the support act. i thought he was on for about the right length of time considering he was unheard of. the stage setup was second to none and evidence of how top class celine and all her crew are.

 

the atmosphere was buzzing as the intro video started playing and i was honestly shaking with anticipation, my drove all night videos and pictures prove it

 

celine was beautiful and was clearly enjoying herself a hell of a lot! she just rattled top quality performances off one after the other. its so hard to pick my favourites because the whole night was a special occasion.

 

maybe youre wondering about lip synching. i was worried before hand after reading comments about some songs being mimed. that show was 100% LIVE. even power of love! she put so much effort into you could tell it wasnt a recording!

 

jamie king certainly knows what he is doing because the show was faultless. i cannot wait to see her again if im lucky enough. maybe in a few years

 

just a quick mention of the merchandise. i was pleasantly suprised at the low prices compared to some concerts i have been to, especially seeing as it was a concert of this size. for £45 i got an almost life size poster, a key ring, a mug and a classy official programme. considering the programme cost half of the grand total, it wasnt bad going

 

the MEN arena staff were impeccable, low and fast moving ques, no trouble with cameras and quick serving on the merch stands.

 

as for the arena, what a fine venue it is. suited celine to the tee as the sound system and acoustics were amazing!

PS: i saw celine get wisked away straight after walking through the crowd to exit. two big merc's raced out the arena at the end if it was her for sure, bad luck on the many fans who waited at the stage exit

The bootleg turned out great so that's two really good recordings I can upload when I get home. Gonna try to get both London dates too but Darren mentioned metal detectors on the entrances which freaked me out.

i wonder if she has changed hotels,due to those d**k head autograph hunters last night,who were drunk,and being a bunch of embarrasing w***ers,pushing to get near her etc! they drove me mad for the 2 days we spent at the hotel!! celine looked terrified when they started raising there voices etc!!
