It is funny how often she actually messes up words when she sings in English. I think the English still confuses her a bit sometimes. Totally cute!

So did I. I saw this very video a few weeks ago and was puzzeled. The belted "now" sounds the same though, so idk. Maybe it's a partial. But in the FIY tour, the London, Memphis, Montreal, and other one recorded for a TV show sound the same except for lyrical changes from the 7 min to the 4 min.

During Immortality in Osaka Jan 1999 she sang the first verse twice - and never sang the bit about "I'm sorry i haven't a role for love to play" etc. I wonder how many in the audience noticed? I did the first time i heard it, but that's because i LOVE this song!!

Maybe she's so used to lipsynch this song, that whenever she performs it live, she "forgets" the lyrics. No?

 

but, I saw the tour live in montreal, i know i was young, but i'm sure she didn't lipsynch as much as people think.

thats a goo question...i remember when me and my friend saw her on the TC tour and she messed up...i cant remember which song...it think it was RDMH and i nugged my friend and was like "she messed up, lol!" and my friend didnt notice AT ALL. but i was singing along and she wasnt...it was great! i love when she messes up a little, its so funny and cute!

2.I don`t know if it was a mistake, but in Live a Paris concert when she sung Les derniers seront les premiers, when she done adlibing, a second time, she kissed JJG, but the adlibing was heard.

So, whats your opinion, there was playback or it was wrong edited. Period 3:05

Definately, it's not mistakes, it's funny moments that we'll remember. Though it is the "real" Celine It can be hilarious at times, but she's so, so cute in this videos! :wub:

She messed the lyrics of this song up so many times during the tour... I think the faster version confused her a bit. She also did something around 1:00. Not sure what though, but her reaction was totally cute. She was like ''Oooops!'' Looks like she stepped on the dancer or something.

 

By the way this is my favourite performance of this song from the tour. I love the end. They should have kept it like that.

I think all the songs sounded better in SA at the start of the tour. Her voice didn't sound nasal at all, even during All By Myself. I think cos a lot of the songs were new she sang them with much more energy and passion.

 

Also, she hit the note in Fade Away absolutely amazingly this video from SA - don't forget this is the same note as the ORIGINAL All By Myself high note!

That was very cute when she tripped on the dancer! I think you might be right also, this was early on and I think the quick version/arrangement has to be a challenge when you're used to doing it the same way for so long.

I saw that video before, but I just rewatched it, and the camera gets REALLY choppy right there, and it literally bounces back and forth, as if it were cut. I'm not sure if that is 100% real, but I don't see the point in editing like that to make it look like she had a spaz attack. Not sure what to think of it.

yeah that's a stupid editing mistake! there are more mistakes @ Live à Paris, cos one night she sang with a mircophone with a cord, the other one it was without a cord!

 

 

oh and Céline always messes up ONCP!
